I really like this album a lot! I've only listened to it a few times, but it is one of the albums that has left the biggest first impression on me. I bought the album on amazon mp3 store and am listening to it now. I think that this album will definitely be in my top 10, if not top 5 albums of the year (of course taking into consideration future releases, both ones we do and don't know about)

I love High Violet. It's a masterpiece. I've had 'England' on repeat for a while now. I think it's magnificent. I'm seeing them in August. Can't wait. :wacky:

I looked into them yesterday. It took some getting used to, but I think I like Matt's voice. it's nice and deep. I love a deep baritone. :wacky:

 

Anyway, I think a part of it also had to do with the new album being called "High Violet." Just sayin'. :P

Best New Music on Pitchfork. An 8.7 as well (which is pretty high for their standards). I completely agreed. I'll be picking up this album for sure.

Sounds about right for HMV, they have 1 or 2 copies of older cds and charge the living daylights for them
