Do you know your mobile/cell phone number by heart?

Featured Replies

Random question, do you know what your mobile/cell phone number is off the top of your head?

I knew my first number phone number off the top of my head as it was easy to remember (07944 686866 [don't phone it as it's been a few years since I used it, it will belong to someone else]), but my current number is a mystery to me.

So it is just me?

For security, don't post your actual numbers here. Otherwise I might sell them to a marketing company for lots of cookies.

That's all I could ask for.

Thank you.

No and not just mine. I'm so used to using speed dial on my home phone and the memory on my cell phone, I don't know anyone's numbers by memory except my mom's. :laugh3:

Don't mention it. Any time.;)

of course,who doesn't?

To be honest, no. I know my friend's house number, my brother's cell phone, my home phone number and my mom's number... that's pretty much it.

Yes, I do. I also know my dad's cell phone, my home number, and all of my best friends' cell phones (which there are 4 of them). They have 'pretty' numbers so it's quite easy for me to remember.

Yes, it's the only cell phone number that i can cite without referring to my phone book.

I know my phone number, my mum's one, and many others...

Nothing to do with this, but I recall very well number plates and things with figures and dates.

i no my mom's and mine, thats it

Hm, now when I think of it, I know my mother's, father's, home number, mine, few friends'...and their homes, perhaps.

:D

Hm, but not the new ones.

I would just save them in my cell phone...and poof!

of course i do remember it. and i also remember many other numbers. i remember all the numbers of my family (my cousin, mum, dad, grandfather, family phone) and some of my friends (3)... :D

no, i don't, which is a shame.

but i don't phone myself that often :dozey:

how do people now know their own celly numbers?!

 How embarrassing is it when someone asks you for your number and you have to check like, your notepad or something?

Sad.

Mine is pretty easy. I know 15 numbers off the top of my head in case one day I don't have my celly. I still know those numbers.

mom

dad

brother

love

sister

bro-in law

best friend

house

love's mom

little bro

best friend's mom

...

I have a great memory ;)

i keep the same numbers since i bought my first mobile like 4 years ago... but my number begins with similar numbers as my dad number, so i always check it before i say the number, to not mix them..

i know it sounds stupid and more after 4 years, but i don't give my number all days...
