It seems like it's only socially acceptable for non-gay female friends to kiss, etc; but when male friends kiss (or even hug) all of the sudden it's considered a gay thing. :rolleyes: I'm glad Chris and Jonny don't let stupid social rules to get in the way of their friendship.

i know what you mean though...if a girl said she kissed her mate people dont think nothing of it, but if a bloke kissed his male friend you have to point out its not a gay thing, but people still dont tend to believe it....well i do..

I was just generalizing I hope you don't feel like I singled you out or anything. ;) Here in the U.S. it's hard for someone like me who likes to hug and snuggle and occassionally kiss because everyone here seems to have the mindset that any such physical contact is automatically a sexual thing, but for me it's not, I do those types of things with all my family and friends.

I'm inclined to agree with you... Chris is quite definitely not gay tho it's a bit harder to say with Jonny. But Jonny definitely loves Chris a lot (maybe becoz Chris kind of takes care of him)... And not in a usual guy/buddy kind of way. That look Jonny gives Chris, and the way they exchange glances all the time, the only other time I've seen it between people who are not lovers has to be between me and my sister (at times when we're feeling very close to each other, we do give each other looks like that). She does give me that playful/grateful/dreamy smile (the way Jonny does) quite often when I'm being the supportive, caring big sis... It's love right there definitely. Though I don't think there's any sexual attraction necessarily, it sure runs very deep. Personally, I just think it's very sweet Chris & Jonny have so much love/affection for each other that they're compelled to express it all the time :pleased:

Yep... it is refreshing. But I would have said that they prolly love each other about equally deeply, though they'd express that love in two rather different ways. Chris would be devastated if Jonny ever left him / refused to remain friends; on the other hand, Jonny would be very hurt if Chris started to show the same level of affection for anyone else (excepting Gywn of course :P )...

yep, he does try to keep it way low. i mean he can't do much else right? from what i can see, it's just not his nature to go out there and show the world his love for chris. it's just not his nature to show anything. even in concerts, he's trying to keep himself out of the light (even though he's playing some very good stuff) and it's chris who tries to pull him out of the corner, failing which he goes over to jonny and the light just has to follow :P

 

but it's true that there's lots of love there. and it's so sweet to see them like that. though i wonder what will and guy think of all that's going on between jonny and chris :huh:

Props to you for doing so...Me and my gal friends get along like this too and all the guys at my school think were lesbian even though 3/4 of us are in a commited relationship with the opposite sex. The guys always have something mean to say but we just let it fly by b/c we're comfortable enough with ourselves to know the affection isn't sexual.

 

Oh yeah...Everytime I come on here I just get this image of a suspicious Gywn coming to check up on any news we might post to feed her need to find out "what's really going on" between Chris and Jonny. :lol: :lol:
