this is the only rap/hip hop song i've ever liked. of course it has something to do with chris being a part of it, but it's not JUST because of chris--i also think it's a good song overall, and i don't like "beach chair" which chris was also in.

 

i was kind of hoping in the back of my mind that chris would be in the video...

any idea of a release date??

The last time Kanye released teaser pics for his video, I think the actual video came out a month or two later. Im guessing it wont be too long, but theres no official date yet.

I wonder if that's why Chris got a hair cut a few months ago. The director thought his hair was just a little too crazy.

I love this song. I talked to some of the guys that are big Kanye fans at my school, and they all say that Homecoming is one of their favorites. :nice:

I for one can't STAND Kanye West and I don't know alot of people in the states who can. The speck of music ability he has can't be ignored by the fact that hes such an arrogant prick. Personally as far as "hip hop/rap" songs that Chris has been part of, I like Beach Chair with Jay Z WAY better. Kanye West needs a reality check, hes an average musician hes nowhere NEAR as great as he thinks he is.

^i really like that it's widely considered one of the best songs on the album, not just another monotonous collaboration that's only half decent.

 

i kind of really can't wait for the vid. music videos are one of mt favorite art forms ever. and chris is one of my favorite people ever...

Graduation is a really good album. He's a little cocky, yes, but you can't deny that he's got talent. And his collaborations with other artists make sense, it's not just some random hook-up with the hottest artist of the day (I mean, how many songs is T-Pain on, seriously. :dozey: Well, he's on graduation too, but that's besides the point...) Homecoming is one of my favorites from the album, along with Flashing Lights. :D

I really like the look of this video. That silhouette thing is really clever, the result looks like a cross between an ipod advert and the GPASUYF video. And it's good to see Chris without his afro again, haha.
