New song is great, loving how different it is to their other stuff.

Stupid MTV won't let me watch the video, I'll have to wait for a youtube upload.

My god the new song is terrible. Thankfully they stick to their original direction! The lyrics are terrible, and the sound is just a wall of noise compared to their crisp, sharp notes of their albums.

The new song isn't THAT bad, I like their normal stuff better too, but IMO it's nice to hear them in a different light :P

If anyone's interested, i have a Rar File with a bunch of other vampire weekend songs, not from the albums but of the albums, recorded in studios, so they do sound different from their originals.

 

i took them from places like When they did MTV unplugged and another one is from when they did a pitchfork special called Juan's basement. anyways, give them a listen, u might like some of them, they all sound real good in quality except for a couple.
