Elbow hasn't left my car cd player yet. Marvelous driving music for me.
Isn't that the album where I have yet to seen a reviewer giving it more than 4 out of 10?

Where the man from the Mail on Sunday who is normally star happy gave the album a stone dead 0 out of 5 and said it was the worst album he has listened to for a couple years?

I don't give a shit if someone is writing a review about an album. I must listen to it for myself to be able to judge it afterwards...

^They're still around? hahah

I remember I bought a couple of their albums back in the day.

Are there any other Tokyo Police Club fans willing to support Elephant Shell as the best album so far in 2008?

I still have to check them out.

Keane are making a new album.

Nooooooooooooooo

And whats with Keane, eh? :shifty:

As for albums worth hearing, all I can say is The new Elbow and Raconteurs albums. But I'm sure those have been mentioned already.

Frightened Rabbit- Midnight Organ Flight

and Coldplay for sure...;)

I still have to check them out.

There really good. The lead singer's voice gets on a lot of people's nerves (understandably so) but it's really original. The music itself is great too. One of the best things about them is that they don't drag songs on longer than three and a half minutes, because I find a lot of bands continue songs when they really need to end. Their debut album drops April 22nd, but it's already on the internet.

No particular order:

1. Hercules and Love Affair - Self titled

2. Vampire Weekend - Self titled

3. Los Campesinos - Hold On Now, Youngster...

4. Drive-By Truckers - Brighter Than Creation's Dark

5. Stephen Malkmus - Real Emotional Trash

6. Nada Surf - Lucky

7. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Dig, Lazarus, Dig

Somebody else has a time machine that they can listen to albums of the future as well I guess.

Who would want to listen to Underoath anyways?

I'm still sticking with Tokyo Police Club. Their new album drops on Tuesday. Be sure to pick it up. The album is already on the internet, and for you Canadians, MTV Canada has it on their "The Leak" portion of the website. Be sure to give them a listen.
