April 11, 200818 yr :) I hope our local band (Elvis Jackson) will release their cd this year. But i doubt they will because they're in the studio atm. We (local scouts) wanted to use them for an event we're preparing, but they couldn't make it. Gah! And I also hope that Coldplay's LP4 will be okay. :D
April 11, 200818 yr The Kooks have their new album up on their myspace. Just finished listening. Sounds good. I just bought Moby's "Last Night" I liked it so much. His best in a long time. :dance: And don't forget Gnarls Barkley!
April 12, 200818 yr The Young Knives Superabundance is my fav so far, but it's still early days. Viva La Vida and The Boxer Rebellion album are going to be great.

April 12, 200818 yr Youth Group and The Living End are Australian bands - Living End are more worldly famous..but Youth Group supported Coldplay and you'd probably know them for the song 'Forever Young'. Sarah Blasko is also Australian.

April 12, 200818 yr 311 is a rock/reggae/rap band that is based in L.A. They have a huge following in the United States, and a rather large intl. following. I am surprised you don't know them, though I am sure you would be familiar with their songs. For instance, Come Original... **EDIT: I have started a 311 thread in Other Multimedia. I have uploaded Come Original there. This is one of their best songs - so much ENERGY and MELODY**
April 13, 200818 yr - R.E.M. - Accelerate I think it's a great album, although it's a bit short... - The Kooks - Konk Came out last Friday in Germany and I love it! Perhaps not as good as Inside In/Inside Out, but especially the first songs are amazing!

April 13, 200818 yr Oracular Spectacular - MGMT It was released digitally in October 07, but the CD came out in January 08 - it's excellent, go buy it! Future album releases: I am hoping the new Green Day album is going to be released this year and that it is going to kick arse. BJ Armstrong said he's been writing a lot of it on piano and that it will reflect the fact that he is feeling 'middle-aged'.

Where the man from the Mail on Sunday who is normally star happy gave the album a stone dead 0 out of 5 and said it was the worst album he has listened to for a couple years?
