I was so excited when Violet Hill was finally released,.....but it sounds so different for Coldplay^^

It's a good song, no doubt, but it isn't so catchy like the good old coldplay songs.

 

But then I listened to Viva La Vida.........It's a frikkin' awesome song :D:D:D

Yeah it sounds very different too, but its melody is really beautiful :)

Liked it immediately at first listening, and that's what I expect from a Coldplay song :P

This is the perfect combination of Coldplay's phenomenal songwriting and Brian Eno's amazing production skills. Jo Whiley mentioned Viva la Vida only in passing on her radio show and seemed to emphasize how beautiful Reign of Love, Yes & 42 are. So we've got a few doozies to hear yet. :D

it's kind of hard to compare both, as both are awesome on their own, but violet hill has a slight edge over vlv :)

i really liked that song, very uplifting. to be honestly with violet hill i wasn't too impressed/excited for this new album, then i heard spell a rebel yell, and now viva la vida and i'm definetly more excited. it's really great to hear them expand in so many directions.

Ohh, if there are tracks more stunning than Viva then I'm going to need a box of tissues with me when I listen to the whole album!

 

My whole exam revision is a complete write-off thanks to Coldplay :P

I'm listening to this song as I type. I def. like this one a lot from the first listen but it so SO DIFFERENT from the other two! This album is gonna be all over the place with their sound.

Just got Viva La Vida!!!! I love it. Feel guilty that i got it tho wantd to w8 4 the album *sigh*. But the song is beautiful!!!! C'est tres magnifique!!!!
