Chief05 Posted May 7, 2008 Share Posted May 7, 2008 I was so excited when Violet Hill was finally released,.....but it sounds so different for Coldplay^^ It's a good song, no doubt, but it isn't so catchy like the good old coldplay songs. But then I listened to Viva La Vida.........It's a frikkin' awesome song :D:D:D Yeah it sounds very different too, but its melody is really beautiful :) Liked it immediately at first listening, and that's what I expect from a Coldplay song :P Great! [/quote'] This is the perfect combination of Coldplay's phenomenal songwriting and Brian Eno's amazing production skills. Jo Whiley mentioned Viva la Vida only in passing on her radio show and seemed to emphasize how beautiful Reign of Love, Yes & 42 are.
