yeah we get the translation, but circular days makes absolutely no sense...

My guess at the circular stages idea is, they will lay at least 4 of these circular stages on the floor of arenas, 1 per member, and they play a few songs that way. A C-stage kind of part of the show.

I always thought it meant something like circular diashow, as dias is obviously an abbreviation of something

^ actually a dias is a sort of platform, usually raised above the ground, so it could just be a circular stage

Isn't that a dais?

Saw the movie Paul today, and when the spaceship comes at the end, the top of the sphere looks exactly like the round disc Roadie :thinking:posted

The first time I looked at it I thought it said "diag" (short for diagram) with the "g" being poorly written. :\

For all we know, the dias circular pic could maybe be the start of LP5's cover art for the CD holder.

^ That could be, but Roadie #42 said above the diagram that "Plans for how to present Coldplay live in 2011 are well underway"

Although the album cover could have been inspiration for the shape of the stage . . . hmm:thinking:

Perhaps 'Talk' will find its way back to the set list. I Don't mind them cycling back to a futuristic theme after the vintage/revolutionary vibe of the viva era. Hopefully they just don't overdo it. With all of that musical talent, it would be far better to have a show that pushed their limits as multi-intrumentalists rather than a crazy light show while Chris dances and tracks play in the background.

very nice first post, by the way :D

I did enjoy the live version of 'Talk' more than the studio version (except for the very beginning when you can hear the guitar echoing really, really quietly) especially when they combined it with GPASUYF, it had a very nice piano transition. :)

And hear their gorgeous new album in full

Good evening. We thought you might like to know that Coldplay's friend, collaborator and frequent support act, Jon Hopkins, has taken a break from working with the band on their new record to make a gorgeous album with Scottish folk singer, King Creosote, which is out this week. In fact, we thought you might like to hear the album, Diamond Mine, in full. Check it out on the player below. And, if you like it, you can click here to get a free download of Bubble.

Blooming lovely, isn't it? The album is available now on CD/LP and Digital from iTunes, [ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004M5BJY0/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=httpwwwdomi0f-21]Amazon[/ame] & Domino Mart.

I've just downloaded Bubble. Its sounds different but good :) :) I love the backround sound.

I think Jon is awesome (after all he is responsible for "The Escapist" and beginning portions of "LiT" ).. But honestly, He can do better than this.

Wonder what April Fools we'll get today :wacky:

our 'gift' is spaghetti that grows on trees

my sister actually fell for that last year :shifty:
