I posted this in another thread already but the 'MX' on the newspaper could be Roman Numerals for '1010'.

This could be a possible release date of 10th of October..?!

INFORMATION OVERLOAD. NO LONGER COMPUTING. INCAPABLE OF COHERENT THOUGHT. SHUTTING DOWN.

THAT'S IT!!!

October 10th is a Monday, and aren't albums generally released in the UK on Mondays? Could happen. Tis my birthday week also, which has nothing to do with anything, I just felt like saying it. :P

Oh well, at least our crackpot theories will (hopefully) never reach the vast conspiracies going on with The King of Limbs. :laugh3:

Crazy Radiohead fans are CRAZY. Sure I'm a noob, but I'm nowhere near that crazy train!

OMG and like Chris Martin has 10 fingers and 10 toes........coincidence? I think not! *marks 10-10 on calender*

:wacky: possible relase date.

It's half a year away :bomb:

So near Rock In Rio :awesome:

Why is everyone considering 10th October to be the release date?? MX could really be the initials of the name of the album...

 I'm just getting excited like everyone else is.

You're definitely not the only one!

and just when my level of anxiety about LP5 was at a normal level...and then they go and post this and the new website layout and bam! I'm all excited again :laugh3:

nice idea, but i thats just some tabloid that coldplay have probably never even heard of. i figured you could pick just about any 2 letters and it'd be a newspaper. and so i tested this and typed in my initials. and what do you know? there IS a JZ Newspaper...

Well, I'm excited now. :D The sounds actually sound really nice... if the album sounds like this, I won't mind at all :D

Is JZ the Roman numeral for 12th of Never? :P

Yes sir, and if you'll check your calendar you will see that is in fact a Tuesday, possible release date? I think so...

okay been away for a while, so i'm not totally up to date, but saw some speculations about the MX, that maybe reffers to 10th of october. maybe a stupid thought, but if they are gonna play on festivals in june, how and what are they going to play? seems a bit weird to just preform and a bit of 'touring' whitout new material, or is that just me?

I wonder if the songs that we have heard of like Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall, Up With the Birds, and Hurts Like Heaven were part of that first record that they were working on that they moved on from (and then went back to) or were part of that "second" record that they were working on before they decided to go back to the first one. No matter what the new Coldplay album will be the new Coldplay album... maybe even with a mix of songs from both records (or maybe not). I just think it is interesting to speculate on which Roadie 42 posts were reporting on which record.

Hear Professor Champion chatting with Melvyn Bragg

Good afternoon. This Thursday (March 24th), at 9am and 9.30pm UK time, BBC Radio 4 will broadcast the latest episode of its In Our Time programme, in which Melvyn Bragg and his guests discuss the history of ideas. The subject of Thursday's show is the dawn of the European Iron Age - and one of the guests is Will's dad, Professor Tim Champion. You can listen to the show live online (and listen on-demand afterwards) wherever in the world you are, by clicking here.
