I've just run a filter over it to try and get rid of all the Grey's Anatomy dialouge. It's pretty muffled and and bubbly sounding because I havent gotten a chance to alter and meddle with the filters yet, I will do that later on. For now this is just a standard one. I think I may have cut out Chris's vocal as well. But the piano is there and it sounds really nice.

The link at the beginning of the tread leads you to the greys anatomy website music section that says it is Death TO All His Friends so I believe it is a typo and is DAAHF (or else it maybe a different song)

The fact that the lyrics are soo fuzzy and don't match up with the ones posted on Coldplay are leading me to believe that this is NOT DAAHF but rather some sort of B-Sides song.

by the way, releasing a song on the most popular TV show is not a new thing for Coldplay - I remember in 2005 they released Fix You, before the album was out on The O.C.

thats actually a good point. a quick google search reveals the oc episode first aired on may 12, 05 and the album was released on june 1.. so it was essentially released via the oc..

 

thanks for reminding me about that too.. it was while watching that oc episode (upon hearing fix you) that my love for coldplay began...

I used to watch the OC with my roommate to make fun of it (Mystery Science Theater 3000 style). I cringed when Fix You came on.
