I'm asking this question cause I've heard many people saying that X&Y is the best one but I think that A Rush Of Blood To The Head is 10x better :thinking:. I'd like to hear your opinions ;)

Wouldn't this poll be a better idea once VLV has come out? ;)

 

Either way.. for me, AROBTTH is 1st, followed by X&Y, then Parachutes. Looking forward to VLV of course :D

It seems alot of people don't think that highly of x&y but I really liked it. So it;s a close 2nd after AROBTTH.

I think one leads quite nicely into the next. You can chart their maturation over the course of the three albums. So my answer is: they all rock!

I'd rank the Coldplay albums in this order:

 

1. A Rush Of Blood To The Head

2. X&Y

3. Parachutes

 

For me, none of the other albums has surpassed AROBTTH. Maybe the new album will, though, the new material has been better than anything Coldplay have done up to this point.

X&Y definately, it's moved me like no other. I dont get why so many are against it.

 

Mine goes in order of release so far

 

1. X&Y

2. A Rush Of Blood To The Head

3. Parachutes

 

So understandably if this trend were to continue then Viva la Vida should be pretty darn good!

I don't see why everyone hated x and y. It was just the 2nd half of the album that was rubbish (cept for twisted logic :D)

I voted for Parachutes..but it feels a bit like trying to pick your favorite child...I love all their albums...but for me Parachutes is one notch above the others:cool:

It was a reallllllllly realllllly hard choose between Prachutes and ROBTTH, but I voted for Parachutes...

IMO,AROBTTH #1,Parachutes #2,X&Y #3,love them all but a Rush is just one hell of a beautiful album.

X&Y - because I have the best memories when listening to it compared to the other two.

How can people actually rate X&Y over Parachutes with songs like Yellow, Trouble, We Never Change, Everything's Not Lost, Shiver, Don't Panic *lists rest of tracklisting* up against What If, Twisted Logic and The Hardest Part?!?!

But anyway: I still can't choose between Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head. Sometimes I like Parachutes more, the other time AROBTTH. And on rare occasions I'm really in the mood for X&Y.

I like all of them the same really. To me they have different sounds for as weird as that sounds. But I do like X&Y a lot suppose if i had to choose one that would be it dont understand why it gets slated so, it has some top songs on it, yes its a bit more popish but still a rock album so is good enough for me.

AROBTTH, bar none. parachutes is close, but...AROBTTH is the best piece of music i've ever heard. even though i have high hopes for VLVOD, i just don't think anything will ever surpass AROBTTH for me.
