haha! :P wel im going to london next week (no exams at the end of it hehe - half way through my wonderful things) so i might, you know, hunt for a bakery in primrose hill....

i hope to find it too someday :nice:

 

the thing is, i bet i'd pass it and never know, because i sincerely doubt there's a big neon sign with a blinking arrow reading "COLDPLAY'S THE BAKERY--ALL FANS WELCOME!! VLVODAAHF RECORDED HERE!!" :laugh4:

 

i bet it just looks like some everyday building, but for some reason i imagine it being brick.

i was under the impression we already were...:P

(just kidding, of course, because i doubt we'd find it and it's not like they'll be there anyway. still...i think it's in the neighborhood of abbey road...:sneaky:)

Its most likely to be brick, yeah. I think the trick would be to look for any extra security on the windows or the doors, that wouldn't be there otherwise. Pfff, but what do I know. But if there's a burly security guard standing in front of an average looking building in a backstreet alley, I would have quite a lot of reason to be suspicious :P

Wouldn't it be great though if we were actually the first ones to find it? Doubt anyone else has, and I also doubt that anyone is rabidly obsessed enough to actually bother looking for it. Hmm, I need to stop fantasising about these things, I'm starting to worry myself :lol:

haha, well abbey road is in st. john's wood, which is right next to primrose hill (which is also where violet hill is located, not to mention the bakery itself :thinking:), which is very near camden, where coldplay got their start...and we do know the exact address of their old place :D

 

same, i'm getting too excited. but i think part of one of my three days there might just be spent in that part of london...:P

But... I would be up for exploring that area for a day. That's if I don't turn out to be an annoying sod on the first day, of course :P And judging by your knowledge on the subject, I think you'll be giving ME the tour, and not the other way around! :lol:

haha, well it helps to be pretty much obsessed with the place :laugh3:. it's safe to say that i know london much better than NYC (in theory, anyway), and i practically LIVE in NYC! i'm also a bit freakish about these sorts of things...my internal compass is pretty good :P

apparently they all live in/around primrose hill now, though? i think some recent article said that they could all walk to the bakery from their respective houses. i'm assuming that's a pretty posh area, then.

I searched pubs, parks, shops, bong stores...everywhere. I even went to some jazz place and asked for him, the guy at the door just looked at me like "stupid fucking American" but damnit I had to try because Jonny might have still been jazz! :laugh3:

Chris Martin lives 40 seconds of walking from The Bakery, and its in north of London, Belgravia

Lets just get all members up to Primrose Hill, and make a huge 'stakeout' circle around it, then they can't get out of the area without us knowing :sneaky: They'll have to leave sometime...

i remember when i was in berlin, and we found the U2-studio, we just went right into the building, and no one stopped us, and we just walked around in the whole building.

the guy who interviewed them with the NME when they gave away the vinyl said it's hidden deep at the back of an alley.

then again, chris said he used to walk past it everyday and think "what an ugly building"

And it's within minutes of all band members' houses.
