This reminds me of the one time someone said on the Mew forum (yeah who the fuck are Mew? Doesn't matter) that he thought Muse was detesting. All hell broke loose  Muse fan felt personally attacked by this and called her Muse buddies to come over and defend Muse and shit over Mew. As a counter attack some Mewfans went over to the dark side to bash Muse and their fans and got banned pretty quickly (of course). It was good fun. Also really immature.

Funny thing about the whole Mew/Muse fight was also that they mentioned the one time that radiohead fans invaded coldplaying.com

An attempt at war against the Muse board by the Arctic Monkeys board ended abruptly when the AM fans discovered that almost everybody there hates Muse.

Just don't bash on mortigitempo.com. It's the COOL Radiohead message board.
I always find it amusing when people decide to make their very first post in this thread, on the same day they join. Particularly when this thread was nowhere near page 1 before the bump.

^ page 21

I remember when Paradise came out, some guys from Mortigi Tempo were going to attack Coldplaying.com, but then they found that we don't like Paradise too.

Don't let it break your heart!

Seriously though. Some people get a sick sadisfaction by getting people mad and starting fights. It can be hard, but I've found you kind of just need to ignor said people. If you get bent out of shape they win.

A lust for hatred is one of humanity's biggest flaws. Hopefully God will get that fixed for Humanity2.0 :)

True story.

This reminds me of the raid on the MCR forum. It took us a couple of days to get banned, but it's a life-long ban as far as I know. Great fun. Yes, childish as hell but no real harm was done.

and this is just exactly what you should NOT do...

the internet has become a place where people find it normal to bash everything and everyone they dislike.

Hate this, hate that.. look on youtube, oh my god.. it's all about negativity, and thats so wrong, so stupid, is that who you are? Is it actually really important? Is that what makes your world go round?

I don't understand much of todays world..

It's certainly not important. The MCR thing wasn't hateful, more like a practical joke, and some of them came over here after. But it was never hateful or abusive, and I'm not a fan of that either.

The thought of raiding a forum is dumb. cant we all ljust like what we like and be happy? dont cause problems for other people for your own personal enjoyment. lets just live in our own forum worlds and be happy :)

Hi guys! Thought I'd pop in from atease and see how things are going. Are we at a ceasefire yet?

What is this fight?! It's so funny and ridiculous.

Coldplay ; 50 million records sold, 15 215 235 fans on Facebook

Radiohead ; 30 million records sold, 7 427 339 fans on Facebook.

End of the war :D

^Lol. Just to inject a note of humility, I just heard Nickleback have also sold 50 million! :o

Radiohead self release. Most of their shit doesn't get counted because they don't measure success by sales. They've also never really used facebook :)

I find it interesting that @thomyorke has so many followers, with like 2 tweets?

I tried to watch Radiohead appearance on Colbert. While the interviews were funny, I just didn't get the music. I do listen to Coldplay records from start to finish, watch every concert from start to finish over and over again, I couldn't watch more than 1 Radiohead song. I guess it's just not my thing.

As far as I know we are... I don't think it was with atease anyway, I think it was just with the regular messageboard linked on the band site. I don't think anybody from here thinks it is worthwhile to troll over there, although a few months ago some people from the Radiohead messageboard joined here to try to urge us to go at it (see page 5). There are lots of Radiohead fans on here anyway (including myself) so it seems a bit pointless to fight. :lips: Looking forward to when they announce the second leg on the tour so I can hit up Chicago or somewhere on the east coast...
