How did you feel about Poopey getting dumped out the Cup by Swansea? Was it funnier than Mancs knocking Red Krapp and the Spuds out? :D

Getting knocked out by a Southampton player :P

Ah well, it was a good run, was bound to end.

That lies your problem Angie, all your best players are out loaned to other clubs ;)

Keane completes Spurs return

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Robbie Keane has re-signed for the club from Liverpool.

Keane left White Hart Lane for Anfield in an £18million deal last summer, but struggled for a regular role under manager Rafa Benitez.

The Republic of Ireland international underwent a medical in London on the final day of the transfer window on Monday and agreed personal terms.

A statement on Tottenham's official website read: "We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement for the transfer of Robbie Keane back to the club from Liverpool."

Tough decision

Keane admitted it was a tough decision to leave Spurs in the summer and he has vowed to win over any fans still unhappy with his initial departure."It was a difficult decision to make to leave Tottenham in the summer," Keane said. "It proved not to be the right move for me.

"I know some Spurs fans will feel I let them down by leaving but I can assure them I shall be giving my all for this club - this club has terrific fans and I want to repay them for all their support. We've got to get on and fight our way up that league table."

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy was delighted to welcome Keane back to the club despite his acrimonious departure to Liverpool.

"We never wanted Robbie to leave in the summer, we acknowledged the six years dedicated service he gave this club and reluctantly let him go.

"I am delighted that he has chosen to return to us. We can all recall the passion and fight he displayed during his previous seasons with us. I know he is determined to give us his full commitment."

BSkyB keeps Premier League rights

Premier League football is one of BSkyB's key subscription drivers

BSkyB has retained its share of live Premier League broadcast rights in the UK for 2010 to 2013.

The Premier League announced on Tuesday that the subscription-only broadcaster had been awarded four of the six packages of audio-visual rights.

That is the same number BSkyB has held since 2006. The remaining two packages will go to a second round of bidding.

Last week, the BBC retained the rights to broadcast Premier League highlights up to the end of the 2012-13 season.

All interested parties had to hand in their bids for the live rights on Tuesday, with BSkyB's main rivals widely reported to be Setanta and US sports network ESPN.

However, the identities of other companies involved in the bidding process have not been revealed by the Premier League.

The two packages in the current deal not owned by BSkyB belong to Ireland-based Setanta.

BSkyB has the right to bid for one of the two outstanding packages in the new deal.

The Premier League insists it will not comment on the size of BSkyB's successful bid or any other aspect of the tendering process until after the second round of offers.

BSkyB, part of Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation media empire, paid a reported £1.3bn to show four packages of 23 games each for three seasons when the rights were last on offer.

Setanta, meanwhile, spent £392m on two bundles of 26 matches - handing the Premier League a total income of very nearly £1.7bn for live domestic rights over those three years.

The overseas broadcast rights, which are also up for renewal in 2010, generated a total of £625m over the same three-year period when they were renegotiated in January 2007.
