I wonder what other people will think about this opinion, but I kind of like the farce side of El Classico, to me its theatre. Now I would hate it if I supported either team (Though in the past I do have a fondness for Barca and still do- if only in comparison with Madrid) because that would be embarrassing and trying to respect your own players who dive around or stamp on someones hand, that isnt something I'd like my own team to be doing (And overall Newcastle don't).

But yeah, watching them do it, it's intriguing, El Classico matches are like watching a good film that has everything, and it certainly had good football last night. That's the important thing, as long as it's a tightly fought out match with decent play, I can forgive the rest.

I concur with this. More often than not all the diving/shoving antics happen midfield, whereas the goals just come from good, quality football.

As far as the two teams are concerned, ever since I started following football the whole Barca tactical possession system has been the 1st wonder of the sport, whereas Madrid has never impressed me outside of just having extremely talented individuals.

Usually come each clasico I lose all respect for both (apart from messi, who just doesn't go down). In fact, I was pleasantly surprised to see Madrid end up the villains, when more often it's characterized by busquets diving, and valdes sprinting the length of the pitch to get in the ref's face.

why,

they have never known of a life in the lower reaches of their domestic Leauge..

And Madrid fans have?

btdubs, Deuce hat trick!

We are the most fan-friendly team ever I think, so deserve all the good stuff :D. After the Man City game, a friend of mine driving back to Swansea seen a few of the Man City lads in a service station and seeing his shirt, spoke to him and had a few pics.

However, being serious for a few mins regarding football, most of those those Gooners are completely unfriendly and non-compromising bastards, hope they sink to high-hell someday. The mighty, mighty Swans are a team who know how to pass a ball and are a lot more confident every game they play from now than ever before.

I've met a few of the guys, and always take their time meeting fans, Leon Briton let me jump the line when my first pic with him didn't come out well!LOL!!.

Here's me and the Swans most notable passer of the ball this season (Leon Britton)

Yeah, I can believe that. I dont know any decent Arsenal fans. Actually, the ones I know seem to be rather illogical. Great pic, Leon Britton is really good. Shame they lost today, i've been really impresssed with how Dyer, Sinclair and Graham have all adapted to the PL.

ps. Clint Dempsey is on FIRE this season, what a beast!

Ooo, time for Bolton now. Great chance for us to go fifth. Really need Carroll to get a couple tonight.

oh well liverpool lost

Oh dear! What a horror show, we were awful and so was the ref. Fair play to Bolton though they got their desparately needed win.

That makes the blow of losing 5-2 to Fulham a tiny bit more comforting, 22 games gone in the season and we're still ahead of a team that has spent massively in the past 12 months.

But overall that result has the potential for us to go on a very sloppy run.

Absolutely correct. That was a terrible 90 minutes to be put through. We had referee Kevin Friend against Fulham when we lost 1-0, and like today he was quite happy to shaft us all over the place then. Utter ****. Still we messed up for ourselves even without the terrible refereeing. That was the worst performance under Dalglish I've ever seen. Awful.

Same here! I cant believe that he can say 'it will be a quiet transfer window for the first team' after watching those two games against Stoke and Bolton! We need a winger, a central defensive midfielder and a goal poacher or we can forget about the Europa League, let alon the CL!

The best thing about today was Kenny coming out in the press and not holding back in his criticism of the team. He's always come out in support of the team but he's chosen the right time to criticise them. There's a lot of players in that team who need their heads bashed together. They are clearly a very good set of players but as with every team we have standards and they simply aren't being met at the moment. Obviously the coaching staff aren't immune from this criticism either and the same goes for us fans. We always should acknowledge our shortcomings but most importantly support the players out there. Players will never improve if they continuously hear our gasps of exasperation every time they do something wrong on the field.

City are planning another 1st tomorrow, by bringing in something called cityfancam.

Balotelli will start tomorrow... 2-0 city ...

That's right, Kenny should really explain why he doesnt wanna sign anyone. There are great players going that we could do with such as Jelavic, Granero and Krasic. That might give Carroll and Downing a kick up the arse. I think the price tag and playing for a club like Liverpool is affecting them so they just need more time to acclimatise.

This is getting exciting...

2-1 Jermain Defoe

This is getting ridiculous, what a game.

2-2, Gareth Bale. SCREAMER!!

Balotelli is a cheating ****. So is Howard Webb.

Phoar! 3-2 Balotelli (penalty) 94th minute!!

You could argue that he shouldnt even be on the pitch, but...

Our referees are shocking! I thought Michael Oliver had a shocker last night in our game.

We won.. !! sorry spurs

I used to admire Manchester City because of its fans, who stayed with their team even in the third tier, but this admiration is long gone now. Now the City fans are just a bunch of arrogant pricks who take pride in saying they're the richest team in the world and in having ****s like Balotelli playing for them.

Be careful, very lucky! In more ways than one!

Yep. I dont have any respect for what Mancini has done or will do. He has just thrown money at it and cant match the jobs that Ferguson, Redknapp, McCarthy and Moyes have done/are doing
