Keegan as a part time bin cleaner? I actually think he did a decent job when he returned 4 years back and would have kept them in the Premier League with ease in 08-09 had he not left. Remember they started that season with a really good performance at Old Trafford as well and then Keegan jumped ship (don't blame him) But when that twonk Ashley handed the caretaker position to that other twonk Joe Kinnear they royally fucked up that club. I don't know what Kinnear is like in private but the public image he gave off stank. Awful awful manager.

I see your point about Keegan he did really well actually, but long term, I didn't want him around, for the same reasons Daryl put. I think he should have been able to complete the season without basically being forced out (He did quit a job yet AGAIN but I'm sure he realised to jump before being pushed).

 

My friend used to work in a bar near St James and Joe Kinnear was in there a handful of nights a week before he had his health problems. I met him a few times and he was fine, but he'd get absolutely hammered every night, once he was there until 6am after the bar closed and he was doing a press conference at 10 the next morning. What a pro. Sigh.
