March 9, 201214 yr You might be laughing at Utd but most Liverpool fans would probably give their right arm to be watching their team play on a Thursday again. I wouldn't. We have qualified for the Europa League next season through winning the CC and I don't like people who don't take it seriously so I hope that we go into it with the aim of winning it. However, I am glad it isn't a distraction this season because I don't think we are ready for it yet. We are struggling with three tournaments. Next season when we are stronger with a couple more signings, I think we will be ready for a top four challenge and Europe again. That said, we have an uphill task, but we're not out of the race for this year's fourth place just yet. Chelsea aren't playing well and Arsenal have to play Newcastle on Monday.
March 9, 201214 yr Liverpool v Chelsea on May 6 could be a crunch game for 4th spot. You would probably have to win all 11 of the games before then to be in with a chance going into May I think Chelsea will be on the up now AVB has left. If Ba finds his scoring boots again for Newcastle I can't see them losing any ground. Its probably down to Spurs and Arsenal dropping points but they haven't got difficult run ins. In fact after Chelsea in March Spurs don't play any of the top 7 again.

Man United can still go on a bad run, they haven't really done it yet this season, I'm not a believer that every team HAS to go on a bad run throughout the season (In fact it annoys me when people say that old cliche), but I'd say it is likely that it happens, especially to a team that hasn't really played that great all season. I still hope they win it, simply so City don't, and I hate United but we're used to them winning the league by now.
