Great, I wonder who they gonna sell ??

Meanwhile I cant remember a major torney such as the EURO CUP.. that have had so many players from one CLUB to such make a impact on it like this one..

Players from each club in Euro 2012:

Bayern Munich: 12

Real Madrid: 11

Borussia Dortmund: 9

Barcelona: 8

Manchester City: 8

City player goals: 4 goals (4 different players)

Arsenal player goals: 5 (4 different players)

Just shut up already.

hmm ok then.

I wonder if Man City will make it out of the group stage of next years champions league, or will they fail and crash into the Europa league again.

Dont stress... we will make a lot of noise... when ever we play... we are the champions...

Uncalled for mate. Show some respect and decency for once.

Pompey should get a goverment bail out !

Businesses don't, why should football clubs?

Welcome to Daryl's world.

So it is now almost certain that Rangers will no longer be competing in the SPL after a fifth club came forward stating it's intent to vote no to the Rangers 'newco'. Looks like it's Division 3 or bust. Would never have imagined it would have got this bad back in October when I went to Ibrox to cheer on Liverpool in a friendly against them. 'We're only here to pay your bills' some of us chanted! Yeah they were in a serious situation back then but no one knew how serious it was. Sadly it's what they deserve. The amount of unpaid bills from Strathclyde police, bakeries to big football clubs was unbelievable.

The Old Firm is dead.

Sad but inevitable. It's only a matter of time before it happens to some of the bigger clubs in the EPL & Championship.

Not personal... Sorry if you were offended...

As regards of Rangers I think the SPL clubs are in a no win situation...

How will everyone up there survive... ?

Goverment or local council bailouts could be the only way forward in these situations a club of the size Rangers and its fan base must produce a lot of jobs and will in the end costing the Tax Payer more, through benifts etc

A vote should be made for New CoRangers... and a very thickblack line should be drawn underneath it.

Rangers playing in SFL 3 cant imagine.. some of those grounds are so small...

Rangers will be considering the already u mentioned move by the take over of a Lower Leage team, some I reckon can be purchased for under 5 million. Sad for the fans of the team, but out of it maybe rangers can help them form a new club in the same ground and fund them until they are back where they was before.

Eventully this will enable New CO Rangers to be in the EPL, This will then make them bigger thn they were before. Celtic will also have to end up following suit.

No worries.

It is certainly a watershed moment for Scottish football. At the moment it appears that Rangers are heading to Division 3 but talk of them looking to find a way into England is inevitable, particularly following the rumours of them trying to buy out Bury in League 1 (would that piss off Bury supporters or would that piss off Bury supporters ?!). Incredibly unlikely though. Regardless if Rangers fans are as passionate as they make out to be (and I question some of them) they could see Rangers progress up through the ranks of Scottish football fairly quickly I believe due to them gaining far greater revenue in gates and shirt sales. I said it back in February and it seems to be going that way - it's a Scottish version of Fiorentina.

The more I think about this Rangers sitution the worse it gets...

A part of Scotland will die... without rangers... this cant happen.... !

Without a doubt the rivalry of Celtic and Rangers was the big draw of any international interest in the SPL (Of which to be honest, there was very little) and losing Rangers is a massive blow to that league. There is the possibility that it'll somehow turn into a positive, if the league becomes more competitive rather then just Celtic and Rangers running away with it every season, but it'll certainly look bleak initially.

I've been hearing the impact could be seen on other teams in the SPL and in the lower leagues.

If Rangers have to start from the 3rd division, I would put £5 on Celtic winning the championship by a mile for the next few years.

Just look when Scottish teams play in the Europa League, pretty much always out at the first game, beaten by the 4th best team from Romania.

As for Rangers, they they are welcome to join the English league system, the Northern Premier League will welcome you

If the world ends this year as the Mayans predicted , City will be champions not 19 times or even 20 but for all eternity

you do talk bollocks sometimes!

Sometimes?

That was ridiculous even by your standards Daryl, do you feel no shame?

Forlán very close to signing for Internacional de Porto Alegre

I can't believe it! It'll be awesome seeing him playing for us. VAMO VAMO INTER!

That'll be a scoop! Always liked Forlan once he left Man Utd. Won't ever happen now but was always intrigued whether he could have made it in England.
