Love a bit of Ajax. The original Barcelona. But Celtic are in with Barcelona! There is a chance there for me to see that. Would be incredible to see Barcelona.

Roberto Mancini's team will also face Ajax and Borussia Dortmund. Champions League holders Chelsea begin their defence in a tough group with Juventus, while Celtic have been drawn with Barcelona in Group G. Manchester United face Galatasaray, Braga and FC Cluj while Arsenal have Schalke, Olympiakos and Montpellier. August 30, 201213 yr Apparently the Berbatov move went through, and he turned down bucketloads from Italy to do it for only 4k. I suppose that aspect is encouraging, though I'm not altogether sure what to think, as Fulham already has 2 new strikers, each of which have performed well so far.

August 31, 201213 yr The Telegraph were suggesting that Fulham DID accept a bid of money plus Jordan Henderson from Liverpool in our attempt to buy Clint Dempsey. However Henderson said no to the move and the deal collapsed. But with Carroll and Adam gone and what could have been Henderson, Rodger's clearly does not think much about Liverpool's 2011 buys and so he should. Stewart Downing's days are numbered as well. Also, saw this a few days back just after the Man City game with Rodger's giving Raheem Sterling a dressing down in front of all his team mates. Gives an insight into Rodger's style of coaching and man management. It's a documentary series filmed for Fox and to be shown here on Channel 5. Not an idea that has been too warmly received by Liverpool fans though but we'll see for ourselves in a few weeks. I can't tell you how other managers would react. A lot of them, I guess, would say the same, but it would probably be without much weight. Light isn't the word I would use. Firm definitely. If you're in BR's shoes, and you're trying to be dead serious and make a point about something, for some kid to go 'steady..' would totally piss me off, really condescending and dis-respectful. Fair enough though, maybe not a 'light' reaction, he did still stand up for himself and made himself clear.

From their quoting AVB, it sounds like a kid playing Football Manager and punching in his favorite players' names in the transfer search.

Will he be as good as VDV in his first season? That'd be hard, but I definitely think there's no room for VDV in that squad now with the way they play, so Moutinho will be more valued probably.
