Anyway I find the timing a bit weird, nothing wrong with saying he should have got out earlier, last summer would have been perfect for moving on because he at least featured somewhat for a big club. Just now that he's saying it before moving to Stoke, it's possibly a bit disrespectful for his new club, the way I'm seeing it is that he's saying he hasn't ended up at another big team- that wouldn't have happened but he might have ended up somewhere more competitive. So would it be less bizarre if he started grumbling about how he should have never left a team nearly a decade ago? It wasn't petty, I just think it's a bit useless to rub in that he was wrong to stay when he's already admitted it, so I'm going to point that out, no need to beat a dead horse.
