you know what I mean... and Micky Quinn is worse... cant wait till I can call him one morning and put him in his place... the amount of times he has a stab at City, there should be something against this.

Well he is a Liverpool fan and is going to praise the club he loves over any other team. What did he say that was particularly bad against City?

Maybe he said they aren't the richest team in the world, what Daryl really prides them on.

Ive lost count the amount of times he has had digs at City... he just does it for the sake of it.

So he's done it so many times you can't think of one example.

This morning... he had a go at City. Takin the piss out of Mancini´s post match interview..

In that case I don't know what Quinny said but its bloody justified :laugh3:
Mark Saggers came out with the most shite I have ever heard from a Liverpool fan this morning.

Total idoit, refusing to accept Liverpools shite start is down to them being crap, toxic. This morning he used the week in the news involving the hillsbrough tradegy as an excuse.

He is a total and utter buffon.

Mark Saggers is not a Liverpool fan. No doubt that Liverpool's start has been "shite" but no one said it would be easy. I have faith in Brendan Rodgers philosophy. It's a mammoth job and he has been left with and will take at least two, three years before he can get the shape of the team he wants. Transforming a team in trying to make them play it on the ground and move around is not easy, particularly with a Liverpool team that has developed bad habits over the past few years.

As for Saggers, I remember when Saggers was on Radio 5 Live and he was never that outspoken. Probably because when you're on 5 Live it requires it's presenters and commentators to think before they speak. No one holds a candle to Mark Pougatch though. Love listening to his show on Saturday afternoons and Alan Green's 606 on Sunday evenings. Great broadcasters.

You like Alan Green?! Jesus. It just gets worse.

I got names the mixed up. It was quinny going on with himself. He is still going to a get a peace of my mind. He wont like it.

I will tell him, he seems to fill the " gaps " at Talk sport ... one day the managment will realise he is crap and he will have to look else where... better of being a bin man I say.

He defends a toxic team, that him and most of the fans still living in the 70´s

Isn't there some TV show on this week about Liverpool?

I don't think I even know who Quinny is, but he'll rip you to shreds.

Newcastle just kicked off at Goodison, nice tribute to the 96. Marginal but clear offside goal from Jelavic who smashed into the post tapping in a rebound, Newcastle with 3 or 4 injury problems (Along with the mysterious decision to choose Marveux whos barely played for us over a fully fit Ba?) and this could be a very long night.

Yeah. Being Liverpool it's called and it's on Channel 5 on Friday evening I think. Saw the first episode which was shown last week on Fox in the US. It's nothing that revealing and is heavily catered for the American audience who won't know much about the club.

thanks, I forgot there was a game tonight. Marveau does look a dud.

He knows a lot about horse racing and TalkSport love their racing, so I doubt Quinny is going anywhere anytime soon. I'd choose a new weekend breakfast radio station if I were you!

It's not that, I think he has potential to fit in well (Though we've seen little of it admittedly, mainly because of injury), its just that Cisse wouldn't have scored half those goals without Ba's support and selflessness, I would choose Ba over Ben Arfa if I had to in that supporting role.

Marveaux's not having a good night though, but nobody really is.

Wow- that was about the 4th time I was sure Everton scored again and definitely the closest, how did Pienaar's shot not float in?!

the ref's having a mare at Goodison. Match report and photos should be interesting later

Everton completely robbed, I'm incredibly happy with a point but almost a feel of shame and feel sorry for Everton. They really could have been 3 or 4 up by half time, we did well to maintain a lot more control in the start of the 2nd half but Everton would've grinded it out comfortably enough if it wasn't for some really dodgy refereeing.

What a game though, loads of talking points.

FT Real Madrid 3-2 Man City

Another fabulous game of footy. Ronaldo (90') is a little bit happier too.

Incredible last quarter to Real v Man City! No doubt over the full 90 minutes Real deserved the three points but credit to Man City for almost pulling off an upset when they had no right to. They need to learn how to handle this competition though. The likes of a Ferguson, Benitez or Mourinho would never allow anything like that to happen in the Champions League.

Looking ahead though I think City fans should worry about the visit by Arsenal on Sunday. City haven't looked too good this season so far so really it has to start with a good performance against Arsenal come 4pm on Sunday. Arsenal weren't too impressive this evening from what I saw of them but have had a much healthier start to the league. I'd go for an Arsenal win on Sunday though and let's hope so.

Real Madrid look strong, they could take the champion's league this year I reckon.
