I like you Ireland. I really do! But I've got to ask....what the fuck is going on?!

aint played football manager for a while then I seen this

"4 season into operation fuck up the rags and i've managed to restrict them into signing only 3 players in 8 transfer windows, the fuckers still manage to pull off results though even with a squad full of OAP's and shit youngsters. think next season will see them falling down the league with the likes of vidic and fletcher getting towards the end of there careers."

football manager 2012 ... out november 3 pre order

I like you Ireland. I really do! But I've got to ask....what the fuck is going on?!

It's a mixture of transitioning to a young squad, and literally 6 or 7 of our first time players being injured, so yesterday we had what would have been a mixture of the 2nd and 3rd team a year ago.

Now this being said, we were making a go of it for the first 25mins or so (This is the kind of positive you have to take when being an Ireland fan lately) but up comes another problem, our management are absolutely dumbfuck useless. We were passing well enough, keeping the ball from them, and therefore able to stay organised, then came the orders to start the route 1 football of aimlessly striking the ball somewhere upfield, then they just got strong in possession and quickly outplayed us.

Even in the Euro's whenever we had rare glimpses of decent possession, before Tardelli (Usually) or Trappatoni would rush up to start waving their arms about how we're playing with too much basic thought. Everyone gave Trappatoni such praise for getting us to a first finals in a decade, but that's the thing with international management, nobody has a clue whether they really did a good job, would anyone else have done better? Maybe not Steve Staunton, but a lot managers would have.

is there one for all the ones he's missed?

i am sure someone from redcafe forum are busy making many of such...i cant start to think what they will come up with about our players... .:D

I can understand making one about Juninho Pernambucano, what sad fucker is making these things? Whoever it is, they probably don't like you Daryl, they probably make fun of how you think Man City are buying Messi every transfer window.

I can think of many things $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Chelski just bought success as well, I don't see what you're proud about if they are indeed the most relevant team right now.

As for the United-City pokes, that's just one sad man poking nobody and spending too much time on City's website. If there was a United fan that regularly visited this thread he wouldn't dare say a word.

Its Chelsea. Bought success? Every team spends money on players and many spend even more tan Chelsea. So that is an invalid argument. They are the most relevant because they lead the Premier League and won Champions League.

Sad man :laugh3:

Many teams spend more then Chelsea? Well name them then. Do we want to go over the past decade, or summer, or last few seasons? Because any which way you look at it you are a massive spending team. Just because ONE club (Not many) City have spent even more then you in the last few seasons don't think that means you've built success from a gradually building history, your memory must be poor.

You really think they would have the successes of the past with Mourinho up to the Champions League, without a billionaire owner? Was that some sort of coincidence that you went from rarely being within a sniff of a chance of winning a league, and then get 2 in a row? You cannot be that deluded, you just can't. I know some Chelsea fans and they can at least accept that you've bought success.

Real Madrid spent more Im sure, but it is not about how much we spent. I had been supporting the team even before Mourinho/Abramovic came. Now I do not disagree that we spend massive amounts, but every other team spends millions aswell. Our history is in progress and people are just jelaous of the success. Now I am happy we were more successful in the last decade than ever before, but I will continue the support after Abramovic leaves just as I did before.

How to argue and not look like a complete moron tips:

1. Don't confirm and deny your opponents allegation.

Either Chelsea didn't spend a ton, or they spent a ton and you just don't care. Here you're basically saying both.

2. Don't avoid following up declarations with coherent thoughts.

'It's not about how much we spent'. Then what is it about? Oh, of course...progress. Progress that accelerated at an astronomical rate when Abramovic came along. What the hell does that mean anyway?

3. Call others jealous as a last resort.

Yeah, makes you look like you have the argumentative capacity of a five-year old.

I think this may be the most rage-inducing post I'll see this year. Bravo!

I asked for many teams that have spent more as you said many teams allegedly do, I didn't ask for one, and fucking hell, I can even help you out here. Between transfers and wages in the last decade it goes in order of Madrid, Barca, City and then closely behind is yourselves, and Man United quite a way behind, those teams are also the top 4 spenders in world sport, not just football. And no, 3 other big spenders are not 'many' teams, and until the last few seasons you were 3rd, until City broke in and spent a bomb of money as well, and guess what happened? They won the league. Hardly a challenging formulae is it?

As for it not being about how much you've spent?! That's the whole fucking point, I said you bought success and you're doing nothing to say otherwise but pointlessly try to make clear how big of a fan you are (DO NOT CARE), you really do have a short memory, read back just a few posts and you'll see that's exactly what we're discussing.

What is the point in saying 'other teams spend millions as well'? So frustrating, the point was that you spent so much that you bought success (Having to beat it into your thick skull now and repeat myself) and for some reason you seem to be convincing yourself otherwise just because other teams have spent a fraction of what you've spent.

And I am indeed jealous of your success, am I jealous of the way you achieved it? No. Would I want it that way? Really not. Because it wouldn't feel the same, and any time someone stuck it in my face that my team could only buy the league, I would (as a reasonable person) have to accept that as the truth, instead of sitting there like an imbecile going "YOU'RE JEALOUS- OTHER TEAMS SPEND MONEY TOO :awesome:!".

Lastly, at no point did I question your support before or after Abramovich, nor do I care- why does it seem like 90% of football debates end in someone feeling threatened about whether they're a real fan? Congratulations that you'll support your club even after the Chelski Empire leaves, nobody asked and nobody fucking cares. In fact your club would be better off without idiots like you supporting them.

Why oh why can't people follow such simple rules? I like the 2nd in particular.

city have made a new bigger market for football, and reilly is just pissed off, his clubs owner was too pissed to meet the present city owner.

He just wants some more money ....

Yeah I wish we had an Arab billionaire owner, so it would gradually get to the point my every thought could revolve around money.

Poor guy.

Serious post now. Not wishing to start a new post over this... but its slightly off topic.

I was deeply upset and disgusted in the most strongest terms with the horrific events in Serbia.

To be a victim of racial abuse hurts, to have your life fretend at the same time is damm right evil scary and dark.

The face the Serbian Football Team including the Coaching Staff seemed to be also doing the same thing.

I am somewhat surpraised and appualed UEFA have not called an urgent meeting to Ban Serbia for the forseeiable future from all football outside its own country for a minium period of 5 years... this is needed so they can reflect on their own society, I feel the ban English clubs had to serve after Hysel also benifited our own Culture in football in England this is.

Racism level is very high in Poland. Serbia. Russia. Crotia and Turkey
