John Terry has retired from England duty. "The FA has made my position untenable" he said.

Nice to see the FA has got something right for once! Now see off a few more ignorant f&*ers and you'll be on the right track!

we played crap again yesterday

Vidic is out for 8 weeks :D Fantastic News...

Brendan admitted after tonight's game that he only has 12 first team players fit. He's having to dip into the reserves/youth squad like he did tonight. Young Jerome Sinclair, who was a handful in the next gen series match against Inter Milan last week, made his debut tonight just a week after turning 16! But thank god a good amount of these Liverpool FC youngsters are quality. Yesil, Robinson, Assaidi and in his short cameo Suso all played very good games tonight. Andre Wisdom at right back put in a good shift as well a week on from his goal scoring debut. Add in the efforts of Sterling and Shelvey for the first team and there's a phenomenal group of youngsters not seen at Liverpool for a very long time. And it's fair to say they are putting the more experienced players in the shade.

12 first team players? Either Rogers is or you are a moron.

I see Newcastle have handed Alan Pardew a eight year contract.

Yeahhhhhh. I always thought he was a man for the future.

The reason being is that Ashley and Pardew have been casino buddies for years now way before Pardew's start (I've personally seen this) and Mike Ashley is a bit of a fucked up figure, he appeared to want to demise Newcastle and sell it after the fans started hating him. Now it's different, he has his friend in charge, Newcastle are now potentially Champions League qualifiers, though I wouldn't bet on it, however things are a lot more pleasant in Mike Ashley's world when it comes to Newcastle.

Impressive part is that he was being blatantly held, and thus deserved a PK and a goal anyway.

Blackburn manager Steve Kean has been "forced to resign" with immediate effect, he said in a statement through his lawyers this evening.

What kindof potato did you film this with Spieler  LOL

Seriously though, that's the last thing Italian football needs right now. If you have any further info on how Klose "admitted it to the referee" a la 2nd youtube clip, I'd like to know because I can't see anything. It would be even more amazing if he actually did, it would be one of those incredibly tricky situations that might change a rule somehow, should a referee be able to reverse a decision after he's clearly allowed it? I've certainly seen a few situations where a player admits to cheating somehow and the referee had to disregard them.

In current news. Whites up 1 vs. shitty after winning an extremely soft penalty. Still, I don't expect city to score before half time, and they're constantly giving Fulham chances to counter.

If Fox show people blowing their heads off will they show another Suarez dive from today? It's X-rated don't you know!

If they shows a clip of Suarez blowing his head off I'd pay for that!! :)

If that's "diving" then you are kidding yourself just like the rest of the incompetent referees in the EPL.

The fact of the matter is that you try making a compilation of Suarez "diving" and you'll be surprised. You'll find a couple but nothing at all. He's simply been given yellow cards for perfectly legitimate penalty calls like at Sunderland two weeks ago and against Man Utd last week, although he never got yellow carded then. Just because he doesn't get the penalty doesn't mean he's a diver.

^shoulda landed on him! (was that a handball as well? :p). Maybe he's trying to change his reputation at last. And I should have known to transfer him in this week since that's two hattricks at Carrow Road now.

City and Chelsea both Win, United falter at home (in a typical too little too late display)

Tottenham's first league win at Old Trafford since 1989

8 years...

That's one hell of a payout if Ashley decides to get rid of him

Adel Taraabt just scored a hell of a goal to make it QPR 1-2 West Ham, turning into a pretty decent game considering I didn't think I'd care at all about it.

Bayern just lost 3-1 to Borisov. One of those games where you tune in during the last 15 minutes and wonder how the other team ever had a chance, much less a goal. Obviously they were pushing up at that point. But with the chances Munich had in the last 10 minutes alone, I still fancied them to equalize.

Karim Benzema's overhead kick tonight was incredible, Ronaldo also scored 2 brilliant goals in his hat-trick, the chip being my favourite. Eliseu's 2 goals for Malaga were better, it gives you an idea of how good it was that the goalkeeper didn't move for a 25 yard shot. El Sharaawy's solo effort for AC Milan was incredible too.

And how did City not lose tonight? If they had, they'd be 6 points off qualification this early on, what a shame. Also that was never a penalty.

His momentum was still carrying forward while the ball was in the air, had no time to adjust himself whatsoever, somehow did it.

Man City, catch them on channel 5/ITV4 in 2013.
