Petition for 'I Ran Away' live...

Wow really ? I didn't know that. Hmm, so that means there is a tiny tiny chance that an old song might still see the light of day.

 

You know what, if I had a few people supporting me I really would organize some kind of petition for I Ran Away live (I say some kind because I am as yet unsure in which form...it would have to be something creative that grabs their attention rather than a plain text message - for example, the Coldplaying Chorus Project made me think of doing something similar for I Ran Away, where everybody sings a line and we send the resulting audio/video message to Coldplay HQ)

The worst thing that might happen to us is being ignored (most likely) or receiving No for an answer (second most likely), but we have nothing to lose ! So why not give it a try ? Who would be in for it ?

 

I would be more than happy to lend a hand in any way I can. I would love for this to come to fruition.

    So, any progress in your plans?

    I am so excited for the I Ran Away project that will be starting soon ! Unfirtunately, I'm very busy at the moment so please have a little patience. I also need to prepare a few things before we can start. Timewise, the goal would be to complete and submit it in the band's break before the European Tour (it's too short notice for the Latin American Tour, sorry about that) so that Coldplay may consider it for its setlist in the European and North American Tours.

     

    Meanwhile, just to have an initial estimate - is there anybody out there who...

    - is a professional singer who would not shy away, if it should be necessary, from delivering a few lines solo ?

    - is a talented artist ?

     

    If yes and you would be willing to contribute to the I Ran Away Project, then let me know ! Thanks and stay tuned everyone.

    I won't sign any petition unless I have the same opportunity to see them play it live.:deal2::devil:

    Just kidding. I feel already lucky enough to be in one of the first concerts of this tour. I will sign even if I have to see through some good soul cam who will record it and upload to youtube.

    Let me tell you that unless a miracle happens, I myself won't see the AHFOD Tour 2016 either (I have got tickets but my visa expires shortly before the concert date, so annoying). I still believe it is a worthwhile project, and should we suceed, I believe someone somewhere will record it.

    Well we will probably have choir parts were we need people singing even if they are not too proficient (such as myself :D), so stay tuned if you're interested.

    Yes! I agree with you. I was joking (just see my spoiler tag hehe). Chris said they're are open to play the songs the fans wanted to, so I think now is the perfect time to ask them to play songs they never played live before (Ghost Story and All My Friends for E.X) and the old ones (Politk, Spies, AROBTH).

    Attention everybody !

    We (The I Ran Away Project) are in the final stages of preparing our video message to the band, asking them to play I Ran Away live during the AHFOD Tour 2016.

    The last part of the video will feature the usernames of all Coldplaying members who support the idea to ask for I Ran Away live.

    I am including those that have already said they would sign a petition like that. If you want to include YOUR username in the message sent to the band, please message me or post your intention here !
