September 23, 200817 yr i think if you want to go to a taping, you go and stand in line the morning of the show for tickets. but its only a limited amount and idk where you would go, or how much it is or any of the details actually lol. i think i remember looking it up for when Coldplay was there last having seen how early people started queuing for the Today show, I think i'd reserve my spot on the pavement about 2 days before :laugh3:
September 23, 200817 yr I entered when I saw it on this messageboard using my gmail address since I don't have access to my comcast mail when here at work. Well, when I got home from work I saw an e-mail from Coldplay was in my comcast inbox informing me about the competition. Dilemma: Should I reenter with my comcast email since that's where the coldplay was sent or leave it with my gmail as entered even though I didn't get the email to my gmail. I don't want to risk reentering and being disqualified. Do you think the competition is open to ANYONE in the NJ/NY area or to only those who were sent the e-mail and that e-mail address exclusively?

September 25, 200817 yr Author Ok, I registered at coldplay.com like 3 years ago. I gathered that everyone here had too at some pt. I got the email from them. and then i posted it to coldplaying.com I think it depends on where you live. your in jersey so it should be fine, thats what they stated in the email. as long as you put your location in the email you replied to them and you are lucky enough to get picked youshould be fine. good luck. somebody from here has to get picked. I also have my friends in the biz checking it out for me to get more info on it. it seems very hush hush though cause it's not even on the coldplay.com website

I know that it said we have until Oct 15th to reply but the confirmation email said if we were being considered we would be contacted "Shortly" hmmmm......... all this stress all over again, it's like the month of May and June all over again....I can't sleep at all

September 26, 200817 yr I entered with my sister's address, but that was before I knew that I was going to the SNL performance on the 25th... I definitely won't be too upset if I don't win now! In fact, if by some miracle I DID win, my parents would probably kill me! That'd mean two trips up to NYC within 3 days of each other, plus my concert at home a week later... :P

September 26, 200817 yr All right. I entered again with my comcast e-mail....that is afterall where the e-mail from coldplay.com informing me of the event went to. As I said before I entered with my gmail address before I knew the invite was sent to the other e-mail. I was conflicted on whether to enter again...maybe it was a better advantage to respond using the e-mail coldplay.com has on file for me? I hope so. I don't want to get disqualified. Please Lord, don't let me get disqualified!!!! :cry:
