Last time, for the MSG show, I did the whole texting thing, and I STILL get annoying texts once in a while about "text this weekend to win New kIds on the Block tix" :veryangry2: And, I discovered 101.9 a couple of months ago, and though I don't listen to that much radio (mostly in the car) it's pretty good alternative rock kind station, and they actually play Coldplay other than VLV!!!! I heard Lost! like a month ago there! And on thread topic....when I signed up for the Yahoo Nissan thing a few weeks ago, I only put my city and state, not address...so I hope that's what they meant!:uhoh:

October 9, 200817 yr Oh man, last night I had a dream that I heard that almost everyone who entered in this Yahoo contest won!!! I was so happy for you guys, but of course dying of jealousy myself. :P And then I woke up... I hate waking up from a good Coldplay dream. And thanks Christa, I'm doing well :D- as much as it makes me sad I can't see them on this leg I am hoping and praying they make it around the NYC/LI (too bad they are too big to play Jones Beach now :() area again!
October 9, 200817 yr AHH That would be amazing if they played in LI or the city... I don't really think I would like it if they played Jones Beach though. I heard the acoustics aren't so great since it's an outdoor arena, but THEY NEED TO PLAY MSG AGAIN!!!!:D

But yeah, the sound is pretty bad esp in the nosebleeds. They could come to Nassau Coliseum again, that place may be a dump but the sound is good and even the worst seats are not too bad. Just hard to get to for people w/o a car. Anyone started listening to PLJ yet? :lol:I just put on the station and it is playing VLV. I have the phone # on my cellie for fast calling but it's just request lunch hour. 1-800-321-9755

October 13, 200817 yr Author hmmmmm, the orig contest from Coldplay.com said the deadline was the 15th, so i am assuming the 16th, but if i remeber correctly for the last free MSG concert people got an email early then the proposed announcement date. Now for the Nissan one, not sure but thats only one winner. arrgggggghhhh. who knows, some random Nissan lover who probably knows nothing about Coldplay will win
