what's telling is that coldplay have basically won everything else they've been nominated for this year in pretty much all other award shows etc. it's definitely the america effect.

 

of course, these things don't matter. it just makes me sad that this is the image of american music put forth by the country i live in. there's already enough about this place i don't want to be associated with :P

First of all, I have to eat my words because I predicted that they will win at least 2 awards but I was wrong. Plus, it is a rarity for a performing artist not to win especially when they are nominated more than once.

 

Secondly, I did vote for them but maybe I was the only one voting for them.

that's because their peers vote for them at the Grammys this show is purely based on radio play, record sales etc so what do we expect when they are lumped into a category with the likes of Alicia Keys or Chris Brown..
