Well, so far Glass Of Water is DEFINITELY my fav. It's simply fantastic. I can't even begin...

Lost+ is nothing new. NOt a huge fan of Jay's contribution.

Osaka Sun Mix is more imiediate I feel. It's nice.

Life In Techincolor ii was beautiful. I love Chris' vocal performance in that one.

I'm on Now My Feet Wo'nt Touch The Ground and I think I've fallen in love with them all over again. It's so beautiful. BRASS! I have been waiting so long for Coldplay to do something with brass!

Dare I say that this EP is better than Viva?

I'm euphoric. Okay:

LIT2- SO worth the wait, it's just a great song. Period.

Postcards- Has such a great atmosphere, it feels really emotional and personal

Glass of Water- Brilliant! I love when the instruments come back in at 3:45 :D

Rainy Day- Wow. Just... wow!

Prospekt's- Only listened once, but the chorus is gorgeous

Lost+ and LIJ- Haven't really listened, too excited about the new songs

NMFWTTG- Not like I imagined, but still absolutely breathtaking, love the end

If I had to describe it in one word, I think it'd be "beautiful"

LiT ii and Rainy Day are standouts for me. LiT ii is just...wow. And Rainy Day is unlike anything they've done before.

But NMFWTTG might be one of their best. So Til' Kingdom Come-ish and so good. I think it definitely had a place on VLV and I wish they kept it on there. I can't stop listening to it.

LIT II is a great much needed after the tease that was the original

PCFFA fantastic interlude. Doesn't need to be anything more than that

GOW WOW. Classic big coldplay

RD has a brilliant intro and holds up with some of their best songs.

PM/PF is up in the top 10. Beautiful song. My favourite for sure.

LOST+ I'll admit after many listens has grown on me immensly. I listen to it over LOST! These days

LIJ (Osaka) great song but I still prefer the acoustic. Which is my favourite song of 2008

NMFWTTG great Closer. I wish the end went on forever and ever

Definatly holds it own with viva. Much of it I adore more even.

Thank you coldplay for holding out the bside loaded single in favour of an EP.

Brilliant again boys! Brilliant!

I'm loving it all. But I feel that the EP shouldn't have had Lost+ and the Osaka mix of Lovers in Japan. I feel like, especially Lost+, just totally destroy the flow of it. It's going on my iPhone without those two, though I do like the new LiJ better than the VLV one.

Life in Technicolor ii - Just wonderful. I knew it would be from the preview, but it's even more fantastic than I could have hoped.

Postcards From Far Away - for only 0:48, I would have thought it could have just been left off, but it somehow feels like it belongs there. It's a brilliant bit of piano playing, and I wish they'd have been playing it live during they're first Boston visit (unless they were and I didn't know what I was looking for).

Glass of Water - Good god, I'm totally in love with this song. It's so powerful and energetic that I just can't help but bash my hand in the air in time with it. Best on the album, and if they're doing singles from this, this should be it. Then LiTii

Rainy Day - Very good song, much like Yes is for me on VLV. It's a fabulous song, but I just don't listen to it that often. You've got to be in the right mood, I think.

Prospekt's March - Wow. So very powerful. I think that this is the Viva La Vida Era's Fix You, or The Scientist or Green Eyes. It's beautiful and serene and sad and its brilliant.

Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground - I agree with the first post, very much like an even better Til Kingdom Come. It's a great song. Ha, I thought I was listening to a newer Death Will Never Conquer for a second. Sounds very much like a hymn to me, and that just makes it absolutely fantastic.

Life in Technicolor ii: Definitely my new favorite song, of all time. It's just so incredible... I can't really find words to describe it right now.

Postcards From Faraway: Hauntingly beautiful. It's so different, but I love it.

Glass Of Water: So catchy and even better than I thought it would be from the little preview we heard. I could just dance around to this song all day.

Rainy Day: The opening made me a little unsure, but I absolutely love it. Definitely jaw-dropping... such a fantastic song.

Prospekts March/Poppy Fields: I can't really decide if I like this or LiT ii better. The melody and lyrics are beautiful.

Lost +: I personally prefer the original version. Jay-Z doesn't add to it at ALL for me, but I'm not complaining.

Lovers in Japan (Osaka): Nothing incredible, but I like it a lot.

Now My Feet Wont Touch The Ground: So soothing and lovely. I wasn't sure what to expect for this, but it really pleases me. It's the perfect ending to the EP, one of those songs that you just want to fall asleep to.

I'm so exhilarated and happy right now... and it's time for bed, but I'll try to get into the technicalities and instrumental aspects of each song tomorrow. :D

Rainy Day and Prospekts March are definitely my favorite. Rainy day is sooo fan-fucking-tastic..... I really don't know how else to describe it.. And Proskpets March may be one of my favorite songs of all time. Everytime I have listened to it.. it has given me chills (I don't even care how cheesy that sounds) .. it's sublime.

anyone else have one of those euphoric "this is why I love coldplay" moments??

I think this entire board that is listening to PM right now is in that state.

I'm so disappointed that for the next few weeks that The Killers' won't even be able to get into my playlists. Bugger!

It sound almost weirdly like Beck!

My faves are basically all the songs that weren't on Viva already. 'Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground' is quickly climbing the list of my favorite Coldplay songs ever. 'Prospekt's March' is WAY up there too. God... as I said, this is the band I fell in love with.

With this EP all war ended... just thought I'd let everyone know.

Honestly though, even if Michael Jackson had done the moonwalk for the first time while Moses parted the Red Sea, and Martin Luther King Jr. gave his "I have a dream speech," even if all that happened at once I'm not sure it's grandeur could equate to the glory of this EP.

The more I listen, the more I think it sounds really mid-Beatles, like Sgt. Pepper through the White Album... The beginning of Rainy Day with the piano and sound effects, NMFWTTG with the drums and horns, etc. - SO Beatley! Which = perfect to me :D

anyone else have one of those euphoric "this is why I love coldplay" moments??

Who didn't?! I cried...
