how much is the car park? and how long from Basingstoke to Wembley? If we're driving I don't fancy trying to park near Wembley.

Other car-parks are available around Basingstoke, but the council have a habit of locking them up overnight, but Festival Place costs ~ £10, but there are cheaper car-parks available around the town.

The coach was around 1 hour 15 minutes last time, it drops you off right outside the stadium, and even though coming back took longer due to traffic and the coach driver getting lost, it was better than fighting though the crowds to get onto a train or getting stressed out driving in the car.

Kite - what did you mean about the flags? Are we maybe not allowed to bring them or what were you saying? :uhoh:

Well it appears kites are allowed in, but not flags..............................

Hahaha. Very funny. :dozey:

That gives me an idea... :idea2: It would be kind of fun to bring a helium balloon with text on it. :D

And then you could attach it to Kite, making him as high as a kite........................

3. It may be the closest Saints ever get to being at Wembley. :bigcry:

unlike Spurs who were there last February and won there. :smug: me and Jonny. yup

I'd go to WHL with him any day. :sneaky:

Jen... if you want to drive and get a train, you could always go to one of the towns on the line of the train.... several small towns like Denham or Gerrard's Cross are near the M25, on the same train line to Wembley and I'm sure there's somewhere free to park in these places. I go past them on the train. easy!

Like Cameras, Flags are technically not allowed, but it's a case of sneaking them past security, and with all the people getting in, the security isn't that tight.

So unless your carrying a massive flagpole with you, it shouldn't be a problem :P

Until when fighting the crowds to get out of wembley, you mess up on connecting trains and end up somewhere in London, miles away from your car ;)

Hey Kara, join the "we won a cup at Wembley club" :)

We did that at a show once. Wrote "Play Amsterdam" on a yellow balloon and floated it in front of Chris thru the whole show. :laugh3: The next day people on the official forum were bitching and moaning about some idiots' balloon being in all their pictures. :laugh3: Fuck off and learn to get to the venue earlier you moaning bastards! :P
Cooky should wear one of these shirts:

Because

1. Will supports Saints...as do I :D

2. It can be easily seen in the crowd........by Will! :sneaky:

(damn I knew I should've made a better list for Santa:P)

This is why there's only one THE Angie:lol:

But seats behind the stage?

Yep! Seats all around just like the Foo fighters gigs!

Custom t-shirts you all say? i may be able to help you out there, people will be able to pay for it themselves if somebody can transform whatever you want on the t-shirt to a vector format then you could be in luck!

Ah, thanks. I can't see what the big difference between bringing banners or flags is. Are banners technically not allowed either?

:laugh3: Maybe it's not such a good idea after all. At least not if you're standing right in front of Chris... which I hopefully will. :smug:

;)

What do you think of this draft / design?

It could be a starting point for further ideas...

Maybe add 2009 on it?

Tell me what you think!!

 great design!

But we have to be careful that the letters for 'coldplaying.com' are big enough in order to be readable and that the 'black cubes' don't discolore inside the letters... (I don't know of you see what I mean XD)

^ True

Do we need the VIVA ? Coldplaying.com - Wembley 2009 would be great, nop ?

We should think about printing 4 for the band, we would throw them on stage and they would wear them (ahah... I should stop dreaming)

I think it's a nice draft. I might agree that we don't need the VIVA on it. :)

Hey, I like that! They shall keep a souvenir as a memory of the day that the Coldplayers invaded their concert. :P

This is my draft... the same idea as SueDeNimes though...

Was working on it for 2 hours :P

I think we could manage to write WEMBLEY 09 with Coldplay's letters, using VIVA LA VIDA & PROSPEKT'S MARCH (using 2 V to make a W or things like this... see what I mean :D ?)

but a dream > like it (why can't girls wear yellow too ahah?), simple and brilliant, though it might be great to enlarge the writing, it's not catchy enough imo ;)

EDIT : oh and maybe just Wembley '09 ? Some of us are not doing the 18...

It's the fault of cafe press... the woman's shirt comes in only 'light' yellow :P

Doing the coldplaying.com logo was tiring!!! :P

Thanks for the inspiration khalplay :nice:
