I was thinking about this today and what keeps bugging me is why they have to send tickets so late? It makes me nervous hoping they will arrive before I fly out that Wednesday before. Jeeez... I hope they get to me in time, like many of the CPers on here are not from the UK... I will be freaking out that week! At least in the US, they send out earlier than the week before.

:uneasy:

Thank you Min,

it's me and the notorious chavi, in case you were wondering..

Kelly I love your squeeeing

I know! Really annoying. An English friend had tickets for the Liverpool gig and he only got the tickets like 4 or 5 days before the event. :stunned: Which would be too late in this case, as we are planning to be in England monday the 14th already.

But perhaps other people who have been to Coldplay gigs in other countries than their own can share their experiences. Have the tickets actually come too late for some people? Or did everything go fine, until now at least?

Someone said in another thread that they probably send out the tickets so late to avoid the reselling of tickets.

Many people purchase tickets just to put them on auction and make loads of money with them. So if you receive them so late, there's hardly any time to send them on to whomever bought them off you ;)

Could be a reason?!

I would get in contact with the place you bought them from and explain to them, that you will be leaving for London from abroad and whether they are able to send the tickets maybe a month earlier so that you get them in time ...

^That's a good idea...I've been paranoid about this, and every once in a while the thought creeps in my mind--what if I'm all set to go, passport in hand, but the tickets haven't been delivered yet!?!?!:stunned::confused:

I know Coldplay isn't selling the tickets themselves but I wonder if our wise Oracle could shed some light on the ticket situation almost all of us are in:)

Watch out Wembley, Jen & Ian just decided to stay the night :D

If anyone else was looking at staying, we got an alright deal with travel lodge, and they still had rooms on the saver deal when we booked a couple of hours ago.

Its £50 for a double or twin room for a night, £5 per day to park there, £10 early check-in (to check in before 3pm).

Its also only 2 miles from the Stadium, so depending on how rough the area, it'll be walkable. Has a tube nearby for those who prefer.
