January 13, 200917 yr Watch out Wembley, Jen & Ian just decided to stay the night :D If anyone else was looking at staying, we got an alright deal with travel lodge, and they still had rooms on the saver deal when we booked a couple of hours ago. Its £50 for a double or twin room for a night, £5 per day to park there, £10 early check-in (to check in before 3pm). Its also only 2 miles from the Stadium, so depending on how rough the area, it'll be walkable. January 14, 200917 yr Well Chavi and I stayed at the Generator when we went to the O2 and I can tell we didn't really enjoyed it. Was as dirty as we were scared to go to the loo or to take a shower....
January 14, 200917 yr What I heard about the Generator is that it is more a "Party" Hostel. Well, that is definitely not what I need when I'm in London... I only go to my hostel to SLEEP and not for having a party. I once stayed at the "International House London", it's in Lambeth Road, near Waterloo station. It's actually a student's home but you can book the rooms during break / non-term times. This applies for September and it's 23 Pounds per person a night. For that you get a small room with shared kitchen and shared bathroom but it was at least QUIET and clean and you have your own room. I was there in September 2007 and booked with www.travelstay.com I can also recommend easyHotel. Small rooms, but very clean and you have your own (but tiny) bathroom. Not suitable if you're having claustrophobia tendencies or don't like bright shiny orange :laugh3: For anybody looking for a hostel: read what other people wrote about their experiences there!! Once I stayed at a hostel near Notting Hill and there were people staying who couldn't find a flat, so they were there for a long time (with loads of luggage) and were annoyed by people staying only for a week or so. Since then I decided I'll never book a hostel again where I have to share a room with strangers. I had a "party girl" in my room coming home at 3 a.m. every night and waking everybody in the room and a crazy woman speaking to herself and praying all the time...:veryangry2:
January 14, 200917 yr thank you very much for this homepage! it has some cheap hotels to offer =) That's true... But please have a look if a ho(s)tel has good / recommendation reports on other websites!! This awful hostel I was writing about was booked with travelstay as well!!

It'd be fanfuckingtastic!LOL) on a more serious note...I'm so glad that ppl are discussing diff. options for hotels and stuff like that...'cause I'm gonna use it for research on where I'll end up staying.
