Never watched it :uhoh:

never do

never do

mmm ok, but I watch something pretty alike it's called "La Academia" but I just got really sick of it!!!

I can't stand reality tv at ALL. Really can't stand it

Sorry, I love it... well the early bits anyway where all those nutters show up thinking they can sing :laugh3:

My parents follow it. I don't care for it much myself, but it can be entertaining. I usually end up watching with them from time to time.

I just watched the audition last night.. :uhoh:

And I heard Lost!

I don't like the show at all. To me, the show is a slap in the face for all the hard working musicians out there who struggle to make it in the business. These musicians struggle and pay their dues in order to make it, while these groups of people (most of them anyway) take a shortcut and not work their asses off to achieve success. Plus, they butcher so many great songs that it should be a crime.

The funny thing is out of all the winners and/or contestants only a few, and I do mean few, has achieve any true success since leaving the show.

I agree with this post

Oftentimes the participants get crap contracts as well and they sign it just to be signed :dozey:

I loathe celebrity oriented shows of that sort. dancing with the stars, skating with the stars, celebrity circus... I just don't get the appeal. As far as dancing shows go, "so you think you can dance?" is actually really excellent because the contestants are truly talented (most professionally trained), not to mention the great choreography. 10x better than idol, and it's a lot more interesting and tasteful then watching a bunch of celebrities,I have a friend whose majoring in dance that follows it.

I personally like Idol more than So You Think You Can Dance.

But I truly hate Dancing With the Stars. That show is terrible

Whatever way you look at it, American Idol is actually very entertaining, especially the "auditions" part.

And at least it's giving someone new a shot at fame/success, unlike the "celebrity" shows, which are just regurgitating has-beens and never-weres.;)

it is getting old,but the auditions are funny to watch.

By Idol, I'm assuming you mean American Idol/Pop Idol/X-Factor/Popstars style shows which have had their day in giving countries instant pop-stars which stay around for a year or 2 years before disappearing.

But I can't hate something I haven't watched because I have the power of the TV controller

You have never watched american idol and it's clones?

Not really, I have watched the odd episode of the early stages, but never sat down on a saturday night to watch the latest episode of the singers murdering songs.

I still haven't gotten over when Johan Palm slaughtered many of my favoritesongs!

Ex. Viva la vida.
