Elbow are top so it's nice to get some recognition at last. But of course you can't give an award to both so all I can say is... ...just because you're losing doesn't mean you've lost. February 18, 200917 yr The boys are so sensitive and popular-acclaim obsessed I really worry this will dent their confidence :( Oh well, at least the Pet Shop Boys were good, took me back to my childhood :D I always knew Chris was gay, with or without the pink wig, but Neil I was not so sure. No doubt now in my mind with that coat - outrageous, but loved it :) is just an award show... the Postcards = best recognition ever :P This is the most perfect thing I have read all day, hope the boys keep that in their minds. February 18, 200917 yr but still it's so unfair :bigcry: it's been a wonderful year for Coldplay, they deserved at least the best live act! I don't think they've played enough in the UK to deserve that my friend. Apart from the Brixton gig and the flurry before Christmas the UK's been all but ignored in favour of America :( But they should have had best album and single for sure :thinking:
