Is that Jon Hopkins in the corner? I would assume any recording now would imply a some sort of release before this era is done; it makes perfect sense with the release of Mylo Xyloto comics in early 2013 since so many characters and situations there have their own song in the real world. Plus Roadie #42 said in his blog that they were planning on going to studio while in Oz, so it's either for a quick polishing for songs that have already been recorded and possibly mixed, or a re-recording of a song. My hunch is that an EP is NOT IMPOSSIBLE anymore. It would be illogical (by Coldplay's standards) to record something now and then go on a long break, when they'll start afresh anyway?

I beileve that the intimate gig in Sydney is going to be played on a small stage outside the Opera House. At least they are showing pictures of the stage being built in the threads for these shows in the Live section of the forum.
