Does anyone know what kind of coldplay stuff will be for sale at the event? I wanna get some shirts and possibly other things.

Check out the shop on coldplay.com and any of the items that pertain to Viva La Vida will probably be on sale that night. They all ways sell tons of t-shirts then have other accesories like mugs, stickers, tour programs etc.

Does anyone know how many people can fit inside the pit, or how many rows back it goes, because I don't plan on coming early to line up, hopefully I'll still have a good view.

So the countdown continues!!!!! :D My first ever show! *shiver*

Is there *really* going to be a meetup?! It would be cool...

I've checked out Elbow and Daisy, Kitty and Lewis on You Tube and Wikipedia. They both sound great! The word that stands out for me in descriptions of DK&L is "Rockabilly".

And I'm loving this Elbow video and song:

Looking forward to hearing both live 8 days hence!

Someone in the past pages said it doesn't really matter where you are in the pit, you'll get a good view. I might be wrong but I read somewhere it was a thousand people in pit? :S

For the flags, we should put them up during a song...like lovers of japan ahah.

I think it is a great idea to meet up. When we are lining up I am sure people will need to use the washroom and buy drinks and stuff so it would be great if someone held your place in line. This could also work inside too. Does anyone know where exactly we are to line up and what time do you think is a good time. My ticket is for gate 6A so i am guessing that is where I am going to line up. Where do I get the file for the flag?

Can't wait for the show....

We should have a giant container of cheese as a central point. Everyone that wants to be a part of the meet up will follow the smell and by extension, meet everyone. Everyone will also get to eat the cheese at the end.

You can't go wrong with this idea. Cheese + meet up = fun times. ;o

we love cheese

Does anyone know the setlists for Elbow as well as Daisy, Kitty and Lewis? I want to enjoy the opening bands too

As for the stacks of posters, I'm not sure if we'll get to it unless if someone declares they'll print out like 700 :\ because we're sort of losing direction. It would be amazing if we could though of course.

Maybe we can grab some poster board, some paint and brushes and make some grand ones at our meet-up while waiting in line? It could be fun

Sorry if this has been asked and answered in the previous 102 pages but has anyone contacted the security there and asked if we can bring in small digital cameras? I am not in the pit, stuck in section 124 which is dead centre to the stage, just at the back. But I am hoping I should be able to get some decent pictures, just really do not want to try to either smuggle in a camera or get it confiscated.

Cheers

I think the rule is your allowed cameras as long as it doesn't have a detachable lens (like professional photography cameras) or at least thats how it was when I went in 2006.

I think it would say it on the ticket if cameras are not allowed. I'm sure they'll be allowed but they might say not to use the video function. But we'll just ignore that hah

yeah generally venues dont care about point and shoots anymore. video cameras and DSLRs are a no-no though. which sucks.

Awesome, thank you, now to find the charger so my battery does not die, that and figure out how the heck to get my video option on the camera to work :sneaky:

Hey guys: about the flags...how about we each print out our own at home and take them to the gig? I know that not everyone will have one (as everyone isn't on this site) but at least those of us here can have ours ready.

That's what I tried to say! People who arent in the pit print their own, and some people can go splits on printing some for everyone in the pit.

Btw is anyone in here that's NOT fromt he pit, I'm in section B3. I know someone else who is in that section but I was wonedering if there's one else. If so we can print out some flags for our section :surprised:

Sorry guys just haven't had a chance to write any posts but I have been following the activity....

I think we (GA pit and anyone else) should all just print off flags on our own...perhaps a few extra copies and then distribute some there if we can...

it would be cool to print them out and have them there though...something to distinguish the die hard coldplay fans of toronto

A week away...pretty exciting! I wonder if they'll change up any more songs to the setlist, like they did last night with Trouble.

How about we all just go when we meet up to a nearby printing company and print the flags there?

I second that.

Hey guys!

After reading through several pages of this thread, I've not been able to find an answer to this question.

Why do my GA tickets have seats numbers on them?

They say GA4 as well...also row 1? Does anyone know what the heck this means (if it means anything)?

Thank you kindly!
