August 8, 200916 yr I highly doubt that Tampa is gonna be the last, what can we expect from Coldplay now, that they will cancel Wembley on September 19th? When people around the world like Min (aka but a dream) will be coming from Singapore? I feel so sorry for Dianne who is coming all over from California, and for Lori and Angie. :cry:

August 8, 200916 yr Postponement of Tampa concert I just wanna say how sorry I am for those affected by the postponed Tampa, Fl concert on 9 August 2009 - and I understand that some of them are already en route not learning about it until they land in Atlanta or elsewhere having taken an early flight! What a terrible disappointment to those! :cry: I also feel very sorry for Chris and the band, they must feel terrible. It's the second postponement on the Viva la Vida tour ("the worst thing is to have to cancel / postpone a concert" as Guy wrote in a tweet at the end of May when Coldplay postponed their May 29 concert in Saratoga Springs in New York "due to illness in the band". Someone quoted Chris for saying on stage at a concert that his doctor had advised him not to perform the preceding concert, but he had ignored the doctor's advice - followed by the postponement at the following concert (probably a throat / vocal cords problem ). It's the second time in a couple of months and might be pretty serious! I do hope that Chris gets well, but I also hope that he does not ignore his doctor's advice if ignoring it means that he won't be able to go on for quite a while. I am going to the first European gig in Herning (in Denmark) on Sunday, 16th August 2009 - that is, if the band members are all well and fit to go on stage!

August 8, 200916 yr Yes Dianne was upset, but she is trying to see what she can do about her flight from Atlanta to Tampa which leaves tomorrow morning. I said we would call her as soon as we hear something.

August 8, 200916 yr Currently in Charlotte airport, I tried to check if they posted the new possible date. Anyway, anyone up for a meeting in Tampa? We don't know what to do there, so it would be great to at least meet some coldplayers..let's be positive :D I'm gonna check again the thread in Atlanta when I land there at 4.30 more or less :)
