April 9, 200917 yr everyone looking for great seats needs to go to livenation NOW. i just randomly went and checked it out, they released a ridiculous amount so great seats...CHECK NOW.

April 10, 200917 yr I got section 102, row N today. I'm happy. Also, I just checked... pairs still available close, for example, 103, row K. Those are pretty damn good seats.

I'm thinking they are releasing the family/friend tickets or just finally getting approval to release certain seats? It's really weird... Or maybe this was their way of not letting scalpers get the good seats? This way, they would have no clue they went on sale Tuesday (plus nor would we unless we randomly checked like a lot of us did, so not sure...) UGH. I'm happy I at least got upgraded 20 rows at one of the shows I'm going to, but it is a pain to have to then sell the other tickets AND it's annoying how many of the shows had PIT seat released, but not to any I'm going to, grrr...

That's one of my goals in life.. to follow Coldplay while they're on tour and just see them all over the place!! :D I'm fortunate to have a well-paying, recession-proof job with lots of vacation time. I used to follow Yes around... have seen about 200 shows since the late 80's. But alas, their health isn't too good anymore... first the lead singer had acute respiratory failure, which led to cancellation of their 40th anniversary tour last summer. Then this past tour in Feb, bass player went down and they had to cancel AGAIN. Well after all, they ARE in their 60's. Sometime last summer, I started listening to Coldplay for the first time EVER (can you believe it??) It all started when one of my colleagues at work started ragging on me for having "nothing after 1985" on my iPod. I decided maybe I should check out some "newer" music LOL. I heard Clocks on someone else's iPod, walked over and saw it was Coldplay, and downloaded AROBTTH from iTunes that evening. As they say, the rest is history.... At least the guys in Coldplay are still in their 20's... I am thrilled that this band that I have completely latched onto are young and energetic and able to do tons of shows without problems!! Long live Coldplay!!:)

Right now I have my extras listed on TicketsNow and StubHub for $100 apiece... only $3 above face. With the fees and commissions, I will end up losing money. But I'd rather sell at a loss then eat them. I may end up selling at a discount to fellow Coldplayers. That way true fans can get them without paying out the nose to scalpers.

April 10, 200917 yr Yeah.. I'm still in shock that PIT tix came up.. I've never been so fortunate as to even have the opportunity to purchase them! But I already have tix and I don't want to buy MORE tix.. bleh.. what should I do?! Any ideas? + anyone know any really reliable ways of selling tix??
