Jayzo
Oh and I forgot Lovers in Japan, because it has the ability to cure depression and is just amazing, easily ranks as my favourite song of all time with no doubt, Coldplay or otherwise. Usually play it 10 times a day, can't get sick of it!! :D I have no doubt, one day the sun'll come out .

Violet
The only song I can think of that has any sort of meaning would be "Trouble," but that wouldn't be in a good way.
Coldplay
Definetly Fix You and Death and all his Friends. For some reason, they perk me up, even though they are supposed to be "sad songs".
MK
I think Fix You. Tho Lost is my favorite song, and it also means a lot to me. Edit: also Politik, Yellow, Til Kingdom Come, Viva La Vida.
bellynelly
'everythings not lost', whenever I hear it, it takes me back to a bad time in my life, and how the song got me through it all. It was also one of the songs that made me a fan in 2005 when they performed it during their Glastonbury set.

Christa42
the entire parachutes album got me through the hell of 9/11. it changed my life edit - sarah just noticed this was my 4242 post - it must be a sign edit edit - yes Glen, a warning sign
Glen
Would have to be Warning sign. Had a bit of a weird one with that. My aunt loved the song liked the beat and strings, Cut a long story short she died very suddenly, the last time I saw her was on a friday at 10:40am i remember cos i was running late But waring sign always meant something. Anyway the following year I went into the Kitchen turned on the radio, and a advert came on, the advert then cut out the radio went silent for about 2-3 seconds then Waring sign came on. It clicked when it came on that day it was exactly a year since i had last seen my aunt and the time it came on was bang on 10:40am. I havent heard warning sign again on the radio since nor had i before. Maybe sheer chance but i like to think not poss a hello of some sort. But anyway thats why. Makayla
It would have to be "the scientist" for me. That song brings back way too many memories. Every time i hear it. It's one of those things where it makes you happy because the song is so good, but some of the things that come to mind a long with it make me sad... :(
