When love hurts.

Yeah a few of my friends know I'm gay, including the guy I like.

I should add that I suspect he might be gay, also (but in the closet). So by setting him up with this girl, it's also a way for me to test to see if he's batting for my team or not. ;)

I'm not the saint I made myself out to be in the last post, LOL.

Aha! Ulterior motive revealed:inquisitive:

I choose to remain the Saint-ess.

But good luck with that experiment, Saff.:laugh3:

This thread deserves to be bumped

And I shall bump it by saying... love is the most powerful thing in the world, most of all because it gives you that feeling that you're not alone, even when you physically may be. I think, in a way, it makes everyone complete-- any kind of love, and without it who knows where we'd be. Yes, people kill for love- but people also die for love, and it's hard to find something with more power than that.

/happy rant.

i guess you mean love in general... i mean as a motivation.

true, love is a good motivation to do things, just when you don't feel like to do something, but you do it anyways to no see your friends sad.

and well said saffire. ;)

Fine, my thread fails

Don't remind me :blank:

*cries myself to sleep*

:bigcry:

love is the most hurting feeling that we can experiment :\

i'm not against the fact that it's a beautiful feeling which can make us very strength, make us feel like the king/queen of the world, make us feel very light, make us feel like a bird flying where ever it wants, makes us... and make us...

BUT it also can make us feel the total contrary...

I agree. Love is a fickle matter. It hurts. But it has the power to rejuvinate your soul.

Wow.... Sounded like a hippy there.

Jeez, people... Like I said before, there's SO much more to life than "love." Why revolve your life around the idea of obtaining something that most of the time does not last and was never real in the first place? I know I sound negative, but it's just that there's a lot of other things in life that give joy.

This whole "true, unstoppable love" thing seems like a mere fantasy to me.

And a lot of other things that hurt, too, if you have, like, a pain addiction or something. :P

For example I swim on a really competitive hard-assed team and love what I do (not in a romantic way that would be weird) and it also hurts too. (Exercise does that.) So it's sort of like love, only not directed at a person. And I take joy in it as well, sort of like loving someone as well. Just my two cents! :D

Then again I'm not a very romantic person...

hmm...could call this a bump...more of a gentle nudge...? careful, though, you know, just so nobody's heart gets hurt (imho)... :escaping: :sunny:

Not that song again... It really is not appropriate for this discussion. :\

I don't have one right now. I was in love with someone for 8 years but he moved away 2 years ago. I haven't felt anything for anyone since then.

All you need is LOVE! (love, love, loooove)
