So over the past 3 weeks, 32 albums have been battling it out, so that only 4 remain for the final round.

 

Announcing in order of overall point difference:

3 - Radiohead - Kid A (31)

4 - Coldplay - A Rush of blood to the head (27)

 

As was said on the first post, the final 4 will be having a face-off against each other, therefore the first part is these matchups

The same rules apply in terms of voting, however draws are possible, and because I shall be voting, there won't be any chairman votes. Winners get 2 points, a draw shall gain 1 point and a lost will gain 0. After points scored the table will be ranked on overall points difference in the final 3 matches, and in the unlikely event of the end of the 3 weeks, 2 albums have the same number of points and the same points difference the next step down is 'votes for'.

 

The thread will be closed around midnight next saturday night, so you have got 6 days, 23 hours and 29 minutes to vote in the first stage voting

Normaly I'd vote for The Beatles over Coldplay, but AROBTTH is my favorite Coldplay album and although I love The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper is not my favorite album by them.

For me the problem was:

Don't get me wrong but I love both takk and kid a, among my favourite albums ever, but for me the most representative albums of both bands (and personal favs) are agaetis byrjun and ok computer (although in rainbows is close, but then tied with kid a)... so if any of these albums would have been up here it would have been much easier for me to choose; nevertheless, I love both equaly kid a and agaetis byrjun, somehow similar on order of fav albums by each band, and both are different and awesome, so I just can't choose

It's just the way the cookie crumbles, if more people voted for them (or even nominated AB) then it would be those 2 in the final 4.
