recently i found my economy lecturer there... though we have common friends (students of 3rd year) which is ok.

 

but just now on the ... "people you may know" (that apparently it's done comparing my friends lists and my list....)

appears my account lecturer, but says we have no common friends. :confused:

My mom and my friends are ADDICTED to Facebook, but I can't stand it. I don't understand social networking in general.

I dont really mind social networking, its all the other shit that your friends try to drag you into. I started on myspace, eventually started logging on less and less until I stopped. Then Bebo, same with Facebook.

 

It shows that your online, so they message you (EVEN if they can already see you on MSN), they invite you to stupid clubs "The I Like Pink Donuts with Sprinkles Appreciation Society LULZ!" and game tournaments, and they get so pissed off if you dont respond to every one of their stupid comments on your page which are usually as well thought out as "Hi how are u? Im bored lol."

 

For people you never get to see, because of distance or circumstance, its great to keep in contact, but for those you see around all the time, it can be frustrating to give them an update on what drastic changes have taken place in your life since you last spoke to them an hour ago. :bomb:
