Honestly I gave their album a few listens. I don't like judging a band based on a listen to one or two songs.

 

My reason for not liking them is I don't really see much originality in what they're doing. When I listened to the album it felt like they were trying the same tricks over and over again. There were some moments I liked, but nothing that made me want to listen to them again. To me they seem like a more insincere version of fleet foxes or a bunch of wannabees.

I get you. Although I actually like M&S, I think you're right though.

Me too. Though so, I prefer Fleet Foxes and I know that Fleet Foxes is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay much better than Mumford and Sons.

I still don't understand the Fleet Foxes + Mumford And Sons comparisons... I mean, they have some similar moments but they are totally different, in my mind. Mumford seem more similar to other uk folky stuff

That just makes me sad for both of them.

I don't think it's true though, the Sun is not the most reliable of sources. I really don't think Marcus is that kind of guy. Doesn't seem like it.
