August 15, 200817 yr I think they may split but not until they've released the new album and done a few gigs for it. You know what the media is like, I wouldn't believe anything until a statement from the band is released. I hope their slot at V Festival goes well for them.

August 16, 200817 yr I've only heard the single which I was kind of disappointed with considering some hype I'd hear about it, I mean it was good and definitely better than Ashcroft's solo stuff but hardly up to the standards of the best stuff on their first 3 albums. I'm waiting for the album release though I like to get the whole album in a nice shiny CD and booklet rather than downloading leaks.
August 16, 200817 yr I've not listened to the new album much, but I given it a couple of "background" listens, and so far at least, it's a let down. Love Is Noise is fantastic, no doubt about that, as well as Valium Skies. I'm hoping I just haven't given the rest as much chance as I should have.

I've actually deleted the album off my iPod now, save for Love Is Noise obviously. Too preoccupied with Fleet Foxes at the moment. :D
