Just curious to know, and tell me if a thread like this exists already, does anyone feel deflated after the hype of VLV and the concerts ? What I mean is feeling sad now that you have been to a concert and all happy and excited then coming back down to earth days or weeks after it all and realise well thats it, its over ????:inquisitive::inquisitive: And only pictures to remember the concert?

How r u going? I too feel Lost. I have had a little Coldplay break and listened to loads of Jay-z and Empire of the Sun this week, but like a crack addict, I cant stay away from Coldplay for too long. It bloody sucks and is way worse than 2006. I dont know why this is?

 

Anyway...just looking at the picture above of Chris. God love him, and I adore him, but he really hasn't got one ounce of fashion sense has he? This just endears him to me even more!!

well after the wembley shows they directly changed their site. the group cuddle picture, almost no news. i really felt sad. the vlv century is closed and now we have to wait for them.. AAARGH i hate it!

and also, after the nijmegen concert i orderd those bracelets chris wears. after a month hey came, have them for 2 days now, and i look at the solo performace pics of chris.. AND HE PUTTED OF THE BRACELETS:cry:

it was really weard to see him like that.. without the uniform..

the whole forum is deflated. It's really boring now to be honest.

Yep I felt really sad after the Wembley shows, but I know they won't leave us without any news til the next album :nice:

 

And Sara, you're right, but thus I spend less time on here and have more time to work or party :wacky:

Not sad at all as I still got so many fantastic memories and met so many wonderful people along the concerts that it keeps the spirit up. :)

Even when I was reading that Wembley blog and saw the boys hug I think I started to cry a little bit.

As much as I loved the routine of going on here and seeing news and new concert pics of the boys every day, they do deserve some rest...they've been touring for 18 months.

It's alright though, because we still get some news and updates every now and then.

I guess it's a sign for all of us to chill, and even though they're not on tour anymore, the music is still here ;)

I'm not as obsessed as I used to :\ But I still love them to death, can't wait for all that craziness to start again !

Well, I'm definitely not listening to Coldplay every day anymore, even though I still do listen to them often. So yeah, I suppose I can say we're in for a potentially lengthy lull. I decided to collage my butterflies after letting them sit in a bag for months, but otherwise, I'm having to find other bands to hold me over for a while.

I haven't been listening to Coldplay everday for about 2 weeks now. I mean, I listen to them, but not everyday. I am listening more of to Elbow and U2 for some reason. :P But, yeah, lately the boards have been quite boring and I haven't been spending a lot of time on here.

The day after a concert is (what I assume) a hangover is like. The awesome crazy party/best night ever was last night, and now you just feel like crap. Only you feel sadder for way longer.

I agree with everyone. It sucks not having a Coldplay concert to look forward to, and I'm not listening to as much Coldplay now, even though I still love them more than anything.

The forum isn't the same without all the excitement :bigcry:

aaawwwww thanx peeps for sharing your feelings and emotions with me, hey Lucy I love Empire of the Sun, they are coming to New Zealand for a music festival in New Years and hoping to get to see them live, yayyyyyyyy at least thats a brighter side to things:)

I'm with you on that one Lucy, I have all of Coldplays cds in my car to listen to when I go to work, so it pumps me up for the day lol

TOTALLY. Well, at least I did. But ever since the new website and Wedding Bells and everything, I've been feeling hyped for the new Coldplay!:dance:

 

Butt I know what you mean though. I'm definitely not at the peak of my excitement right now. But oh well. It's impossible to stay like that indefinitely. There's gotta be highs and lows.

this made me look back to the transition of AROBTTH to X&Y. i thought coldplay did just piano stuff nice and soft, then x&y hit me with all of the amazing guitars, i was like wow this isnt the coldplay i first heard! but it was in a good way. the change of x&y to viva was different , it took me a while to warm up to it. so im wondering how the next transition will be....:thinking:
