I hate tumblr so much.

 

Tumblr can be the most positive place on the internet sometimes. People turn their passions into dazzling artwork, or things to make others smile. It's so much more creative than Twitter and so much eye-opening than Facebook.

 

Course, it's not always like that, but if you follow the right people and have the right attitude, it can be a lovely place full of lovely people.

idk i don't think you can make generalizations like that. tumblr just like facebook, twitter etc so it's full of different groups of people who operate in their own circles. the people i'm friends with on tumblr are great people who aren't negative towards everything

yeah well obviously there are shitty sides to tumblr, it's full of teenagers as was mentioned before. i just think if you follow the right people it can be a really friendly and great place

i think I generally follow the right people and there are a lot of funny things but

The people on tumblr are no different than people elsewhere. If you look for indie-music video optimism, you'll find indie-music video optimism. If you look for porn, you'll find porn. If you want depression and self-harm you'll find it, and if you just want pizza and puppies, you'll find both in large doses.

And if you want pizza porn chances are you'll find that as well. :P

I've put my link up here before, but given Reillygate and the sudden exodus of this forum, it would be nice if some of us could follow each other on Tumblr.

 

I only really chat to a handful of my followers. I've had a couple of chats with Molly for one. And it would be nice, not as a replacement for here, but if a couple of people introduced themselves to me on Tumblr and I got to know them a little better.

Ehhmm for me tumblr is better than facebook.

In facebook I have people I don't like, but I sometimes need to communicate with them. So you see that they like, share or stupid selfies they take.

In tumblr, I follow blogs that I really like, so it's always full of informative, inspiring, interesting, funny things. Just don't follow the shit, and your dashboard won't have the shit :nice:
