I reckon that if you've agreed to "add" someone, you should at least have the common decency to explain "why" before blocking or deleting them.

Unfortunately, some people don't have any manners concerning that.;)

That goes for totally ignoring them in any other situation too.

the truth is that if I didn't block a lot of people I wouldn't be able to have real conversations with other people. It's not a problem on this forum, but I use the invisible feature for the same reason. To me it's like appearing offline. Then I unblock someone when I know I can talk with them. I don't want to offend someone further by having a half assed conversation with them....

You didn´t know they were kind of annoying to talk through msn.

I don´t even go the msn anymore.

I don't block people, or go on MSN.

Neither do I, really, as it's now been superseded by other programs.;)

I just re-installed mine again recently.

I seem to have about 4 contacts with emails still in use, :laugh4:

and seeing as three of these are family I won't block them.

Why can't you just say that you're busy? It seems pretty unnecessary if the case would be that someone has something important to say to you...

because then i have to look at that annoying "busy" thing and it isn't true :wacky: to me it's the same... to me it's not offensive so it doesn't matter... and when people see me as "busy" talking to them, they will talk to me when I'm busy later assuming I'm there

i HATE when people start with the online/offline crap like 30 times.

I fucking hate it when i type something awesome and long and i jus get a "lol" or a smiley reply after 10 minutes. :disappointed:

No wonder i hardly use msn :wacky:

I rarely block people, I do it if 1)they're annoying 2) they log in and log out like 100 times per minute

It's not a big deal anyway, I wouldn't feel bad if someone blocks me, unless it's someone very important I wouldn't even notice it

Well my MSN list is full of people I don't really talk to or have a lot in common with, so yes, I do block lots of people. In fact there's a lot of people who used to post here that are blocked.

It's not that I don't like them anymore, it's just, if you rarely see a person and don't have much to talk about, it can be a bit awkward even having them on your list. Especially if you used to talk to them all the time, you don't exactly expect them to be like "REEIILLYY WOAAAAHH *HUGS**" like when you used to talk to them, so it can be just weird. It's better to just let it go I feel.

No.

And I'm always "busy" so I don't see all the notifications.

I have enough contacts on MSN that I don't even talk to, i don't know why I evn have the damn thing running... sometimes i don't even sign on.... but I don't block people :nice:

I bumped a lot of my friends :nice:

edit: I was thinking about the bump thread...

I MEANT BLOCKED

Usually I don't block people but lately a few weirdos have added me and maybe they are in fact some weird virus shit because they just write things like this:

[email protected] says:

Hey im naked http://twurl.nl/7w5tli click here and accept

and when I block one and delete that one another one pops up a while later :shame:
