June 20, 201016 yr i'm supporting the aussie's, i have no ill feeling towards them. they have emerton and grella who play for the team i support so i hope they get far. it was still a penalty though. i'm supporting new zealand now too since nelsen plays for them. anyone who gets on the linesmans back for the new zealand goal is harsh. it was the thinnest of contacts and they had to look at it from a few replays to see if he had touched it or not. the linesman didn't have that privelledge so it's no real surprise he missed it

June 20, 201016 yr they have someone lined up to replace him after this world cup so they wouldn't have been able to get hold of anyone with a big enough reputation to manage the french for this tournament only then just go away and blanc probably wasn't ready to start this soon. they must have thought they could blag it through this world cup but it's backfired. it's all fallen apart.

June 20, 201016 yr Italy - New Zealand 1-1 My verdict: New Zealand: :thumbsup: :clap::clap: Italy: :thumbsdown: Typical of Italy to end up no. 2 in their group after 3 matches and then fit for fight in the knock-off matches often ending up in the final. That will probably happen again, even though I certainly hope not!
June 20, 201016 yr shame on the French players, they have a responsibility not only to the manager (no matter how much he is disliked) and the training staff, but most importantly to the COUNTRY who are supporting them and FANS who have travelled with them. They have a game in two days, that is not the way to go about best preparing to win a game which could still give them passage into the round of 16!! sort out your problems on July 12th and stop bringing the World Cup into disrepute!
