For an american, you know a lot about Brazil :stunned: :)

Actually, I still don't understand why your profile says you're from Argentina while you're from USA :stunned:

I'm moving there in August.

Why is your state among Brazil states when you don't consider yourself brazilians?

For starters, its geographical location...it's surrounded by Spanish countries.

And yes, I'm very good with South American geography and culture for a Gringo :laugh1:

Rio Grande do Sul also had a large amount of immigrants from Northern Europe (primarily Germany), so there are more blonde haired, blue eyed people there than anywhere else in Brasil.

I was actually being sarcastic as a response to your comment navegador but thanks anyway! I thought it was because of the Paraguay - Brazil war.

We have no manager at the moment, but no manager is better than having Sam Allardyce.... That guy's football philosophy sickens me. He is the very cancer of English football. No offence but it's true. Loves to cosy up to his 'pal' Sir Alex just to get some recognition from the big guy at the top. A bit like a pathetic schoolboy wanting the attention of the popular kid at school. Heck the bastard even try's to copy Ferguson in every way. Sitting with the directors, chewing gum furiously, wearing overcoat, refusing to talk to the BBC. Heck the **** even had to have a heart operation so he could resemble Ferguson.

haha, christ you took that personally. all i know is i would much rather be in the championship than support liverpool. they are the joke team of the premiership. everyone is laughing at you. i'm content with blackburn being the way they are. our budget is miniscule, we are a small town club and if we went down we wouldn't be able to get back up again. i would much rather be punching above my weight than massive underachieving. you haven't even won the premiership

what a horrible day for football. for two reasons.

first

this might be a knee jerk reaction. but fifa really needs to bring in severe penalties for that sort of behaviour. whenever i talk to a person who doesnt like football, they tell me its for one big reason. the players are all pussies. those images will be beamed around the world for the next few days and will fuel peoples hatred for the game. the fact Keita behaved like that in the colours of his nation makes it even more disgraceful.

second

the comments Lippi made last night. first he said italy were "unlucky" in that game. how can you call yourself unlucky after your only goal of the match comes from a blatant dive which results in a penalty. then he went on to say "they were unlucky in this tournament because two games in a row their opposition scored from a long ball (well he called it a "lob") i would love for him to show me a goal italy has scored that ISNT from a long ball or a penalty. disgusting and disrespectful to NZ.

Well, returning to your posts I have to say that I'm not sensitive. maybe I've become a bit paranoid about Italy... but its true that 90% of реоple here, on football forums, in fan zones, and especially commentators on TV here REALLY HATE them! Because of defensive football and their status of still world champions.

And I don't care about ukrainian team at all, I'm half italian.

I can be considered one of those.

Why? Well, I like watching the "beautiful" and artistic football.

Italy plays an "ugly" and defensive football. I think it's unfair when the ugly football beats the artistic football.

This is a matter of taste, most importantly win the game. And what kind of football do you like to watch with - it is already personal

Italy are a great footballing nation who I admire greatly! They have very much defined European football. Traditionally solid at the back, keep possession and nick a few goals that has defined the playing style of such managers like none other than Jose Mourinho (who plays a bit too much lumpy football personally). I don't think for one moment that there football is 'anti football'. I feel football in Italy has been the most intelligent in the world game. They centre their teams round players who can defend and attack in a matter of moments. And who can argue with a nation which has produced without doubt the greatest defenders this planet has ever seen. 'Anti football' is the rancid tactics of football managers like (in England) Sam Allardyce and Tony Pulis.

That what I think but didn't post cause this is not football forum:) Thank you!

He meant "unlucky", only because once again the first shot to their goal became assists

4-0!

I hope live broadcast in Korea still continues:uhoh:

It's almost certainly on some kind of delay, so by the time the Koreans see it, it will look like they WON 4-0.

SEVEN. TO. NOTHING.

OH, MY GOD, PORTUGAL ROCKS.

i would say korea sucks. :p

just came here cause my portuguese contacts are all like *squee*.

not watching/following the match/competition here.

but i wonder how we'll do (Spain), knowing we lose first match....

The fairytale comes crashing down what a demolition job.

Now Ivory Coast have to score at least 9 goals against N.Corea to have chance:thinking:

 You wish.

I can't believe Switzerland just got a red card! It didn't look that intentional to me, he was just trying to fend him off! :disappointed:

I don't know how you can judge a team's skill based on how they perform against North Korea.

, Korea does seriously suck. I don't know how they ever got there. :P

World Cup rules state that they have to bring a certain number of teams from each continent. North Korea barely qualified over Saudi Arabia, who isn't exactly a powerhouse.

I hate Portugal.

:vuvuzela: Portugal is hated simply because of Cristiano Ronaldo.
